i have met fucking holocaust survivors and heard them speak and seen two auschwitz tattoos and there are real goddamn scum people on this website denying the holocaust and i dont know how to fucking understand this.

i've been worried about reading that msr wwii au (au cafe pequod) for a while because i don't like the idea of mulder as a german soldier even if he IS jaded about it or whatever but actually so far it's been sensitively written enough that it doesn't feel too much like they're romanticizing the war or the holocaust (which was my biggest fear) what's more, it's really well written and researched so far. so i'm glad i decided to start reading

cis people shouldn't be allowed to use this website, for example, is one of the most common ones. Clearly satirical ones like "cis people should all be sent to concentration camps" is one I saw today, I shouldn't have to give examples to be believed.

okay concentration camps is definitely problematic because it's comparing shit to the holocaust but the other one isn't really

and neither of those are really "bullying" anyone because it's not directed at a certain person

sabaton doesnt play the final solution live anymore because the song is way too cheery and catchy for something thats about the holocaust and the band felt a little bit guilty seeing the crowd act like theyre dancing to a heartwarming ballad
