(Spoilers for Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia) Mila has issues. We all know that. The whole story with her and Duma is not as black and white as one would originally think playing the game. She's very misguided in how she cares for her worshippers, as her belief that humans shouldn't have to suffer and constant providing for them lead them to become lazy and hedonistic. However, she's still a goddess who cares deeply about her people (the people of Zofia) and died trying to protect them. She has a really amazing backstory in the Archanea/Valentia mythology but I don't really wanna explain it here. Look it up, it's really cool! Also her priestesses all wear the cutest outfits ever.

Domain: Light/good/"divine"

She's the original divine dragon who blessed one of her teeth to become a sick sword that's super effective against evil dragons. She also helped a band of heroes from a doomed future to travel back in time. And, most importantly, her name is really fun to use as a swear -something I did irl after I first played awakening (sweet Naga no!)

Forseti may be an asshole that makes a certain someone neglect his kids, but damn if he isn’t stupidly strong. I mean, despite being a dragon god of the wind, he can bring people back to life (through possession, but still) and the weapon imbued with his power is either going to be your second or third strongest weapon, depending on if Shannam made it out alive from his joining chapter. Also Wind Dragon God is very cool despite being a Bad Dad.

You mentioned to @witchnyx that Naga is a hypocrite. Could you explain?

Spoilers for FE4 and Shadows of Valentia. 

Again the writers probably didn’t intend for this. But the main stick of Naga’s character is that she does not involve herself in the affairs of man unless it’s absolutely necessary. When Naga and the 11 Divine Dragons descended on Darna and made Blood Pacts with the Crusader they did so to grant them power necessary to fight Loptyr and his empire. She gave the power necessary to defeat them, but she herself did not participate or the 11 others. But Holsety, the youngest and most sympathetic of the Divine Dragons wanted to stay and protect the humans but was convinced by Naga not to. Regardless when Holsety gave his tome to the Crusader Sety, Holsety’s love of humans was so strong the tome itself carried his will to protect humans. So it’s pretty bizarre to me that Naga not only allows Duma/Mila to reign Valencia unchecked, but also gives them another Falchion to kill themselves should they degenerate. I have no idea why they didn’t bother to use Dragonstones. Also thankfully she gave the Falchion to Duma because I am doubtful that Mila would ever end herself, simply because she’s the Mom who never wants to stop being a Mom. Duma most likely would off himself simply because his philosophy will naturally reach a point where humans are self-efficient enough to not need him. Long story short, Naga is a hypocrite. But I don’t think they intended her to be.

Response to your post 162410760400 on Echoes: Shadows of Valentia. Xane says Earth Dragons are NEARLY as powerful as Divine Dragons, while Forseti describes them as equal in power to Divine Dragons. Basically if there is a power difference between them & Divine, its small. However Naga forbid Forseti from staying on Jugdral to help humans, so your point on Naga allowing Duma & Mila to interfere in humanity's lives far worse then Forseti did remains entirely valid.

But yeah, seems kinda unfair that Naga didn’t let Holsety protect the humans from Loptyr but let Mila and Duma alone which… they are just a bit to the west wtf, Jugdral isn’t even canon (yet) to be exactly within the same geographical universe but speculated to be accessed via a Dragon’s Gate esque portal (and even if they shared geographical locations it seems Jugdral is farther form Archanea than Valencia is, but this was probably a slight oversight from devs who forgot Jugdral is also part of this canon).

There's strong evidence that Forseti was intended to be a Wind Dragon, you know how much Kaga loves the wind element and they appear in TRS as a major element. Its never said he was a Divine Dragon at least. The only ones we know are Naga(Divine), Salamand(Fire), & Loptyr(Earth).

I mean it’s possible, I always assumed that they were Divine save Salamander. Medeus is Neir spread the word. Also we going Nils is Holsety?
