My grandfather died in what must be the best way possible. He passed away lying in a hammock, on a beach in Goa, during sunset. Honestly, that’s how I also want to go… strangled to death.

tell me i'm not the only person to notice this. (monster here refers to the religion, not creatures)
your habits are adorable
there were days when all of the second years would have simultaneous day offs. you’d spend it either going to places with them or just lay in bed with your boyfriend, inumaki toge.
today, however, you decided you wanted to bake for a change. you had the perfect advantage since inumaki had to run an errand this morning. you held the metal bowl in between your arms, whisking the ingredients away. your tongue stuck out in concentration, repeating the steps you’d read just a few minutes ago.
unbeknownst to you, a figure holding a paper bag had slipped in and quietly made his way to the kitchen, peaking from the hall. inumaki blinked as he stared at you, placing the bowl back down on the counter. he stopped, staring at you placing a powdery hand on your chin, tongue still sticking out adorably. his turtleneck had been unzipped completely, the markings out in the open. not that he cared, you’ve stated that you grew to love the markings on his face.
the boy sneakily tiptoed his way near you, the paper bag left on the coffee table. he stilled and let a few seconds pass, watching you mess with the plastic wrap.
“tuna tuna.”
the sudden voice made you yelp. when i say, yelp i mean yelp. it startled you so much the word that spewed out of your mouth was the ingredient you were currently thinking about.
“flour!”
now you would be mad at inumaki for startling you, but the laugh that came out of his mouth stopped you. god, was it heavenly. you felt your face flush at the sight of the boy covering his smile with his elbow, gripping the ledge of the counter as if you just cracked the funniest joke. despite his arm covering his smile, you could clearly see his eyes form crescents. it was a sight to see, one that you treasured a lot. his laugh eventually died down when he realized you were just staring at him. a small smile remained on his face as he raised an eyebrow, “takana?”
ah, his voice. he barely spoke most of the time so when he does, you make sure you don’t have anything plugged in your ears. you raised an okay sign at him, grumbling.
“takana.” you replied, crossing your arms with a pout, upset with how he made his entrance. the boy chuckled before waving his arms in apology. as his hands dropped, his eyes lingered on you for a few minutes before approaching you with a step. your head lifted to look up at the boy. despite being the shortest among the other second years, he was still centimeters taller than you. your eyes stared into his brown ones before lingering down to his marks. your hands rose and took his cheeks captive, caressing them softly.
the warm sunlight that peaked from the window lit the room beautifully, giving you both a domestic feel. the smell of baked pastry lingered around the room but nothing mattered more to you other than the person in front of you. the silence wasn’t deafening, it gave you both the comfort it offered.
the boy stared back into your eyes and watched as you trailed your hands along the marks on his face. his eyes instinctively closed, feeling the way your hands tickled his skin. it was an intimate feeling, one that both of you loved. it was your language, other than ingredients.
inumaki opened his eyes, his face drifted closer to yours before leaving small kisses along your face. this time, it was your turn to close your eyes, a small giggle escaping your lips. it was very rare that he would promptly show affection but since you were both in no sight of anyone else, he wanted to savor the moment by showering you with his love.
you didn’t mind, you knew his reasons and he knew yours.
his eyes glanced aside, catching sight of the baked pastries on the tray you just took out. his mouth gaped slightly before turning aside. you rolled your eyes at the distraction before grabbing a pair of chopsticks, handing them to him. his eyes lit up when he took a bite of the sugar-coated pastry, humming in delight. the rest of the afternoon consisted of you leaning on the counter and starting a conversation with him.
both you spent the rest of the afternoon cleaning the kitchen, throwing a few words here and there. the silence wrapping around the both of you comfortably. inumaki did his best to express his emotions about your baking and you threw teasing remarks here and there. it was home and inumaki wouldn’t have it any other way.

I’ve come to the personal realization that my ml endgame goal isn’t necessarily for love square canon, but simply for Adrien admitting, out loud, no identity reveal involved, that he is in love with Marinette. The show can literally end with Adrien saying he likes Marinette and I will be ok with it. I don’t know what to do with this information.
