Wife falls in hole during building a deck

Spent yesterday organizing my upstairs space. This is 90% settled. Deciding on window treatments or honestly leaning towards dowels over the windows and hanging plants that can vine down over the windows.

Also there’s some holes/certain access points we needed open for wiring upgrades for the house, computer jargon inserted here, and there’s a plan to cover that, its just not here yet 👍

Next up, first round of windows for converting this covered porch into a green house where I can grow spinach, kale, asparagus, maybe strawberries and tomatoes? Not sure. It’s going to be a work in progress we’ve been working towards for a while now. It’s exciting to see plans taking shape in reality.

The kids have enjoyed visiting dad and working in his shop lol that’s my childhood, helping dad with his machines.

In the past year, my spouse and I have been building a treehouse meant for guests to stay in and sanctuary to be found in nature on our property.

We are getting very close to finishing it and I wanted to share some photos of the progress.

I recently painted, but had some trouble with the stencil pattern.

We'll be adding bunk beds, book shelves and a wingback chair to the shabby chic design.

Also! Look at this bathroom! It may have taken a million years because of time constraints, indecision, etc. But look how pretty it turned out! I got to pick the tile, the fixtures, and painted, but i'm so grateful that all the hard work fell into his skillset. The plumbing work, the tiling (both floor and wall) goodness gracious that looked hard lol
