Juicy BBQ Beef Brisket Sandwich Recipe
This slow cooker beef brisket recipe yields tender, flavorful meat that practically melts in your mouth. The combination of barbecue sauce, brown sugar, and spices creates a savory-sweet flavor profile that pairs perfectly with the richness of the beef brisket. Plus, using a slow cooker makes this dish incredibly easy to prepare, allowing you to enjoy delicious homemade brisket with minimal effort.
Ingredients: 1 3-4 pounds beef brisket, trimmed of excess fat. 1 tablespoon olive oil. 1 onion, sliced. 4 cloves garlic, minced. 1 cup beef broth. 1/2 cup barbecue sauce. 1/4 cup brown sugar. 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce. 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard. 1 teaspoon smoked paprika. Salt and black pepper to taste.
Instructions: Use salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika to season the beef brisket. In a pan, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Grill the brisket until both sides are brown. In the bottom of the slow cooker, put garlic and onions that have been sliced. Put the brisket that has been seared in the slow cooker. Put barbecue sauce, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard in a bowl and mix them together. Put on top of the brisket. Turn the heat down to low, cover, and cook for 8 to 10 hours, or until the brisket is soft and can be pulled apart with a fork. The brisket is done when it comes out of the slow cooker. Let it rest for a few minutes before cutting it into pieces or shredding it. If you want to add more flavor, you can strain the cooking liquid and pour it over the sliced brisket. Serve the beef brisket from the slow cooker with your favorite sides and enjoy!

Can you tell my husband made dinner tonight? 😆 He wanted to try making a brisket for the first time and it was so yummy. He kinda outdid himself. He used a dry rub and cooked it low and slow all day. I love how my house smells now. In hindsight, we should have shredded the meat, but the flavor was amazing. We have so much leftovers (that I shredded 😉) which I’m beyond excited about playing with! Do you love leftovers too?? . . . . #brisket #homemade #homemadebrisket #leftovers #iloveleftovers #mashedpotatoes #corn #greenbeans #foodblog #foodblogger #dinner #dinners #weekenddinner #sunday #sundaynightdinner #husbandswhocook #recipestested #meatandpotatoes https://www.instagram.com/p/BwQWfcGg1x6/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=19mo7onc0sd8e
