Had to go to the parental abode for the weekend, and i am still reading 'the Illiad' by Homie. Anyways, i got distracted from reading bc of the water splashing around :)

So after second episode of the Final Season of AoT, I came up with this crazy reference. Remember Polyneikes and Eteocles? Two sons of Oedipus, cursed to kill each other, one is in Thebes, the other one outside, ready to attack the city (with his six friends, and neither ends up alive, well, tragoidia). BUT here in AoT we have, surprise, two brothers on two sides of the wall, willing to kill each other, am I right? Or am I just overinterpreting? 😂😂😂

Might be, because I have exam on archaic Greek literature tomorrow (but I couldn't refuse this temptation to watch the episode and it was SO GOOD).

What’s next for Digimon?

So I had this really good idea for what they could do after Tri. It helps tie off some of the inconsistencies with how Adventure 02 ended and Tri began. Stay with me, I’m not used to putting thoughts into writing.

So, Tri opens with some glaring images of the 02 kids getting defeated. Everyone jumped to the conclusion that they were knocked out of the way by Alphamon, but what if they weren’t in the digital world that we even expected?

My idea is that Gennai, in his dark possession weirdness, needed an excuse to get the 02 kids out of the way. What if he sent them to Iliad? 

The 02 kids are keeping the peace in our known Digital World, but they kind of tapped their power. Bored, in need of a challenge, and unaware that he’s Dark Gennai, they ask him for the secrets of evolution to the perfect (ultimate) and ultimate (mega) form. So far they can only DNA digivolve and that’s great, but they want to push farther. He tells them that it’s currently impossible in their digital world. I’d even guess he tells them about Yggdrasill. Explains the whole hierarchy. He tells them that he can gather the power to send them to a new world, similar to the one they know, but under a different hierarchy. He assures them that they’d be able to get back no problem (WARNING! WARNING!) and helps them gather their things. Then before they can tell the first generation that they’re leaving Gennai forces them into the new world. Yolei, Cody, Ken and Davis get sucked into Iliad and because things go wrong for them a lot, decide to start the journey, not knowing that they were trapped.

In this new world (remarkably roman in design) they discover that the world of Iliad is in terrible danger. Ken and Davis are ready to rush off, but Cody and Yolei are hesitant. They can’t do much without Tk and Kari. That’s just about the time they are attacked, Davis and Ken are knocked out of commission, and worst of all, the armor and DNA digivolutions don’t seem to be working.

Aquilamon and Ankylomon are pushed to their limits and….BOOM dramatic revelation that there is life after champion level. We’d get 4 new ultimates and megas on screen (I have a thought on that as well) and a richly unique new storyline.
