Just finished this watercolor. This is basically what I had wanted to do for the foster awareness charity event but was deffinately out of my comfort zone. Chalk is not my medium by far.
Pretty proud of this piece though. Hope y'all like it. :)
Cultivating Love and Hope.
The skeleton hands are that of a childs and an adult, the adults supporting the childs. In the child's hand you have a young ivy; ivy represents affectionate attachment and the ability to grow strong even in the hardest environment. The background is a bed of daisies, irises, and lilacs. Daisies show stability, irises symbolises hope, and lilacs brings it all together by representing family.
Also, the reason i chose skeleton hands was more than that i lile skeletons. It was to omit anonymous details such as race, gender, and So forth. This is because everyone deserves a loving family no matter the details outside of their control.
