Can we talk a lil about how masculinity is tied to fascism in homestuck, especially between Equius' and blueblood castism, Eridans genocidal tendencies and handle, everything to do with Dirk, technology, and Stoicism. Dave, Karkat, and john are interesting and probably read largely as queer bc of their character arcs being resistant to of all those themes

But it leaks into the epilogues enormously, and honestly the whole Centaur thing in HS2 throws me off bc of the continuation of this

So we all know Dirk's motivation is to make his writing (HSBC, meat specifically) relevant, and he seems to plan to do that by causing the events of canon (nymphs become the horrorterrors and create beforus). and the whole point of HSBC is exploring the consequences of holding onto homestuck too long...

...so what if, at the end of the story, June goes back in time and retcons all of it, the nymphs don't create beforus and don't become the horrorterrors, as the final rebellion to defeat Dirk. this would serve the purpose of both being hussnasty meta subversion and being an in universe way to keep beyond canon, well, beyond canon.
