Usually I gravitate towards strong coats and suiting. I love keying it down with simple staples like tanks and slacks, but always with nice shoes.”

BACK IN TIME: LADY GAGA IN HOMIC & GLADYS TAMEZ

On April 4, 2014 Lady Gaga was caught by fans leaving her apartment to head to a yoga studio in New York. Here’s what she songstress wore that morning.

Gaga rocked a stunning floor-length alpaca wool vest with silky self-tie fastening, from the Fashion Institute of Technology student, HOMIC by Joshua Homic Fall/Winter 2014 “Monolia” collection – a statement on influence, how the world around us creates new ideas from the ruins of the old: “The ancient stones of Stenness and Calanais are the epitome of these eternal influencers and were the starting point of the collection, throughout which I reference Neolithic garments like the loincloth and vestments of the Celtic tradition to create the setting of the fantasy society of Monolia. The silhouettes and the contrast in fabrications reflect the stark imposing presence of the monolith structures”. 

 Her eggplant & black leggings with floral lace panels are by Anthropologie.

The tall black felt velour cap with “horse ears”-shaped crown is a custom Alexandria hat by Gladys Tamez Millinery. In fact, this was the first ever hat she wore by the Los Angeles-based milliner.

She also wears a black version of the TB-002 Boston flip-up sunglasses DITA Eyewear made for Thom Browne’s Fall/Winter 2012 collection she got from Gogosha Optique.

She complemented her look with her signature black leather Hermés Kelly purse with gold-tone hardware (which she got from Resurrection Vintage)... 

...and Prada black suede pointy-toed stiletto pumps.

BACK IN TIME: LADY GAGA ROCKS HOMIC S/S15 IN PERTH

“Australia we have arrived! #MonsterStyle #artRavePerth. Aussie Aussie Aussie Oi Oi Oi”, Lady Gaga shared upon her arrival in Perth on August 17, 2014 where hundreds of fans were waiting to welcome her.

She rocked the amazing bovine leather conical vest with silver snap buttons and cut pockets - one of the pieces from from emerging label HOMIC Spring/Summer 2015 “Expeditions” collection where “garments pay homage to the nomadic lifestyle of indigenous tribes in far Asia and Africa. Swaths of fabric, conical silhouettes and durable materials show the constant transition of a lifestyle in motion.”

“Each piece reflects the mentality of adaptation; the individual can change the garments look and wearability through the application of ties and closure details, reinforcing HOMIC’s philosophy that garments are meant to last.”

The look was styled with “#artPUNK” jewelry she got in Seoul, vintage MCM 709-97 sunglasses she purchased from Vintage Frames Company...

BACK IN TIME: LADY GAGA ROCKS HOMIC F/W14 COAT

Lady Gaga was caught by some fans leaving her apartment in New York City on April 5, 2014 to run some errands around the city.

The Italian-American singer wore a black wrap kimono-esque coat with folded triangle-shaped sleeves, silver hardware and asymmetric hem from Homic’s Fall/Winter 2014 “Monolia” collection.

A black knit beanie with gold “Dope” embroidery, which is a wholesale item so therefore it has no label attached to it,...

...and a black leather mask headpiece from Austrian designer AND_i’s Fall/Winter 2011 “Totem” collection complemented the dark look perfectly.
