General Homo flags

Hey, so I decided to make flags for the term ‘homo’ as a whole ^_^!!

I noticed that the terms ‘Homo’ and ‘homosexual’ are used by some people interchangeably with other labels and I personally have never seen an overall term or flag for it.

In this instance, this term can be used as a generalized term for people who experience same-gender attraction or feel as though their attraction to a gender or genders is completely queer. Know that this label is 100% inclusive of m-spec people and contradictory labels.

Some examples are:

A woman’s attraction to other women

A man’s attraction to other men

A nonbinary persons attraction to other nonbinary people

A lesboys attraction to women

A woman who feels her attraction to men is queer in some way

Ect.

Obviously, if you don’t feel comfortable with this label or flag you don’t have to use this.

Color meanings:

Dark blue: Homo (or queer) attraction to people who have no gender(s)

Light blue: Homo (or queer) attraction to men and/or masculine people

Light pink: Homo (or queer) attraction to women and/or feminine people

Magentaish color: Homo (or queer) attraction to people with all ,or, multiple genders

So if I see certain ppl I can say “that person is sexually attractive, I would want to have sex with them in a consenting adult situation and I could be turned on by them”, but I also see other people and they like,,, make me happy to be around? Their presence is Good, and talking to them and receiving attention from them makes me feel Good moreso than with other ppl, and so the latter group is alterous attraction. 

I don’t necessarily have a desire to date them (although i am currently dating three people to whom i’m alterously attracted), because I’ve never felt that “click” that you go “I love this person", which is how I conceptualise romantic attraction - I can understand that I love them but it wasn’t a “love at first sight” experience, nor was it a “got to know them and fell more and more in love” situation, just me looking at my emotions after leaving them to do their own thing for a few hours or weeks and going “oh look that one’s love, right next to happiness and across from listless boredom” (which is to some extent how I view all my emotions bc autism and depression, and while I could speculate on the connections between my neurodivergence and my gender/my attraction, i won’t right now).

 Proximity to a person is often enough to satisfy the attraction the way that dating someone would satisfy romantic attraction, and even with my gfs, i wouldn’t necessarily want to do “dating” activities with them if we could meet irl; it looks to the outside observer as though we’re about halfway between really close friends and girlfriends, disregarding sexual relations, especially bc i’m naturally quite platonically affectionate, calling my friends babe and saying i love you quite a lot, so it looks like a logical extension of a friendship to its most extreme, with most of the things that would indicate otherwise happening in private between us.

If I catch myself trying to talk to someone more and be closer within their friend group, then it’s probably alterous attraction, as are any crushes I have. And I am only ever alterously attracted to girls, so it’s homoalterous.
