HOn3 old school time saver. Work in progress
HOn3 Barlow Pass Layout | High Country Train Station
Here’s a great example of using a stock model kit and adding details or kit bashing more to a HO scale building to make it an unique model building.
My newly remotored HOn3 DSP&P Mason Bogie by United Models. Alot of work went into making this beauty run, may not be perfect but as with all my models, it's perfectly fine with me.
This may lead to more HOn3 in the future, we will see
Currently in the process of adding a simplified version of Stephenson link motion to my HOn3 4-4-0 project. If this works out, I may be the first person to ever put moving inside valve gear in an HO scale narrow gauge locomotive.

Took a short break from the webcomic and did a little more work on my scratchbuilt Baldwin 8-18c in HOn3 (1:87 scale), which, oddly, is based on an engine that will appear in the comic. With the arrival of new 45″ drivers, cylinder covers, and crossheads from Wiseman’s 4-4-0 kit, this project is really starting to come along nicely. More to follow as work continues on the rods, frame, and mechanism…
