all i got officially:

ronan is staying at aglionby (i'm debating keeping niall alive for extra drama, bc ofc i can't just do things normally we gotta do a character study and i can't have him in monmouth for this to work, and i refuse to get rid of gansey) for the new semester

henry is asked by seondeok to get info on niall and stay close to declan without arousing too much notice; obviously declan is sharing a room with matthew so the only lynch he can afford to share with is ronan

so henry pulls strings with the school to get into a room with ronan who is indignant because he genuinely thinks henry is annoying as fuckkkkkkk (and also maybe henry made a pass at him a few years ago) (i borrowed this from you i believe) (henry went and wrote beelzebub on nino's restroom wall) (they've been shits to one another since)

obviously they're both furious about this bc henry isn't exactly fond of ronan either, but mother dearest asked and he's got a job to do and ronan is pissseedd

but one thing leads to another and the two start to warm to one another bc 1. they're both kind of assholes 2. what! we're both middle children crafted in the image of the parent we have an odd codependent relationship with through the alienation of our other parental figure????????????

i think this is slow build, and eventually things work out and we get! whoa! henry and ronan!! relationship???

except! plot twist! henry's been milking ronan for information the entire fucking time and ronan is furious. boom big mess explosive spewhwwrghjerbnd blahhhhh everywhere

meanwhile, we got some highlight reels in my head: including, ronan and henry prank war with one another; ronan realizing he and henry have similar taste in music, or that henry has actually.... pretty good taste in music; henry has ties to kavinsky's crew; henry takes ronan out to graffiti some shit in protest; background bluedansey; ronan teaches henry how to drive stick and henry crashes his car in protest because he did not ask to fucking do this

i'm talking bickering shitstains honan who keep getting noise complaints bc the two are either arguing with one another at four in the morning because henry won't shut up and ronan is a demon and henry cannot believe he got stuck with this lynch why couldn't he have roomed with matthew

they get into regular brawls/fistfights and declan is literally about to lose his fucking mind because he can't just keep bribing the housing department to let ronan stay in the apartment ronan for fuck's sake henry you should know better than this

enter my favourite running gag bc this fic being from ronan's pov and henry being so blatantly involved in a mob plot in the background behind all this romcom enemies to lover's bullshiut. including stumbling back to the dorm covered in blood or with miscellaneous bruises and ronan is getting flashbacks but really henry's okay and the point is that there are two beds hush ronan don't mind your pretty little head let the deeper plot pass you by its okay

and boom that's... all i got. really the main appeal is administration walking in on henry and ronan kicking the shit out of each other on the fucking floor
