I always wonder about how Cherri managed to not know that Something Is Wrong With Her until a flame quite literally ignited on her missing eye, especially since I skimmed through the asks and noticed how Cherri was also a skeptic until she joined the organization...? And that implies that her highschool friends(the Aqua Artimators) had either 1. Thought it would be funny to not tell Cherri about the supernatural or 2. Didn't know she didn't know and just kept their supernatural shenanigans out in the open and Cherri is. Oblivious to all of it and thought they were all Just Weird

Cherri has Burned Down her parents, been around with fae folks/witches, has a demon girlfriend who can stop the stars from moving, and has somehow not noticed that something is Wrong until she got involved in the organization😭

I'd like to think she isn't completely oblivious to all the supernatural happening around her, but just doesn't care enough to pay closer attention to them lmao

Another thing; when the first time Cherri bursts into flames, did both her and Abolish panic, or did Cherri just went 'cool' and Abolish puts his hands on his face, because I find both scenarios hilarious

I mean, the thing about this is really that we base normal off our own experiences. Food allergies, colourblindness, chronic pain, hell - most disabilities! If you get dizzy every time you stand up and always have, you'll probably assume that's just part of standing up. My feet are awful - I need special shoes so I can walk for more than about forty minutes without pain - and I just thought everyone felt like that and I was worse at handling it, until someone else asked me why I was limping. Cherri feels physically hot whenever she gets angry? That's just part of anger. People talk about a "hot flush of anger" so that must be it!

AND. In her defense about Apo. Things function extremely normally around Apo. Skeptic!Apo has not stopping the stars from moving in the sky <3 because she hasn't lost the reason to keep the world spinning <3

Where do we draw the line between supernatural and natural? I have friends who cast spells. I have friends who communicate with the divine. I have friends who aren't human, although they might look like it or have a human body. Who am I to say one is normal and another is not? I'm just another freak. So of course Cherri doesn't notice.

Either she didn't notice until later and thought Abolish was freaking out for no reason, or she panics and Abolish is like "I. thought you knew about this. I fully thought you knew. Okay, do a standard meditation. You don't know those either." and sighs and walks her through a meditation and a minimum of three months down the line Cherri's like "you were so calm and collected" and he goes "I was .5 seconds away from killing us both. You were about to explode. I've never sweated so much in my life."

What I took from Vsmp are really just the character dynamics and who I want to put together so vaguely from vsmp SO I'm gonna refer to them using c! (meaning character)

Idol AU where c!Cherri and c!Abolish are huge fans of a bunch of popular Idols and decide to form a duo band which become one of the very quickly rising bands ever and increase so much in popularity that they're in the same leagues as their idols.

The fandom loves to put c!Scott and c!Abolish against eachother because of their similar skill so they play into it a little on stage and public but really c!Abolish is just being a massive fan and dying /pos inside and c!Cherri is playing into her online persona alot but still dying inside talking to c!Apo and sometimes they just casually mention and talk about their idol crushes and at one point start secretly dating them, find out that both of them are secretly dating their idol crushes and decide to do a fun double date.

So now we have Crossfangs and Hellfire Double Date with Cherrish BROTP and c!Scott and c!Apo beefing.

Einstein would be jealous of these braincells that conjure Yaoi, Yuri and Poly ships. This is the mindset. Ever.

thank you so so so extraordinarily much for the tag @witchbitchadam <3 i'm working on a few tinier projects atm, so here's a little snippet from a drabble that got out of control. also titled, "what u gay bro?"

“One in six.” Adam pointed out, “On average. Five percent of the Virginia population, according to most census data.”

“Oh, now there’s well over eighteen here,” Henry hummed, hand tucked in front pocket, another busied along cracks in light, incandescent leak of fluorescent through what grievance block board permitted, “Simple math.”

Quick, too. Adam’s nod came curt, defensive— no point in the confirmation of wide assumption. No point, in correction. Clarity. Not entirely, I don’t think. Haven’t tested it. Idle, fleeting, tantalizing prospect: Gansey’s shoulders, tucked snug over fabric seams; Ronan’s laugh, outrageous, unexpectant trumpet of youth; Noah’s fingers, dancing through scalp, over cowlicks and sloppy trim; Gansey, his voice scraped mineral when Adam snuck through windows, wound coil cord between index, middle, autumn breeze licking plastic a frigid and grounding center. Moments: temporary. What if, maybe. He thought, maybe, that Ronan knew. Glances loitered too long, too sure, not to. 

“What side of the ratio?” Henry asked. Sudden. Abrasive. Too loud, shut up, I can’t stand the grate of your tone. You’re the piece in the orchestra we clap hands to avoid. “I assumed: Carruthers, obvious. Ganseyboy, that’s clear enough.”

“You.” Adam argued; heart squeeze.

“Oh I don’t factor myself in. Outside the parenthesis. I’m working you out, first.” Dim, but backlight on the cup, frame of hands: index, thumb. Index, thumb. Boxed Adam in phony polaroid, one eyes squeezed in snapped shutter, the other sweeping over torso, leg. Head to toe. “I don’t like to assume these things, if the shoe fits.”

“Gansey?”

“Why I assume.” Henry admitted, dropped pretense. Hands, snap over jeans. Were he sitting, there’d be a spectacle to the upright. As it was, Henry made spectacle of mundanity.

It left a rancid scald in Adam’s mouth.

“What does…” Laugh, shake head, “Gansey?”

“Repetition with no alteration yields the same result, Parrish. Expecting much else, well. There’s a word for that, you know.”

“Stop being cute,” Adam snapped, “Answer the question.”

“Time’s a tickin’,” Henry pointed out, “Buffet ends in five. Not hungry?”

“You ever try making sense while running your mouth?”

“Perpetually. It’s chronic. All the change I make, I mean.” A snort. “Get it? Wordplay. Thought you'd appreciate that— like it well enough from Lynch, I’ve noticed.”

“Funny.” Adam panned, dead on delivery. Get your shovel, throw money to mortician, your procession is in five. “Really.”
