Could I ask for insecure Qingming (or hurt or hurt and insecure), if you have time? Sorry this is really vague but I literally can't think of anything and I'd just like to read some more Boya/Qingming, please!
Hi anon! I’ve never written insecure Qingming before so I hope I did your prompt justice!
Qingming wasn’t really an insecure person. He was when he was little sure, but as an adult? No, he should have grown out of that phase by now. And being the Yin-Yang Master, he definitely shouldn’t have been insecure because he was the fucking Yin-Yang Master. But here he was, insecure just like how he was when he was child. Why was he insecure, you might ask? Well, since he was the son of a huli jing, a fox demon, he had the ability to transform into a fox demon and one day he decided to transform into his full fox form and look at himself in the mirror. As he looked at himself in the mirror, he felt all the self-loathing and hatred he felt for himself when he was younger and quickly transformed back into his human form before he picked up a teacup and threw it at the mirror, watching as it shattered. He then let out a sharp breath before he waved his hand and slammed his room doors shut, locking them so that none of his servants or anyone else could get in.
~*~*~*~*~
A few weeks later, Boya decided to come for a visit. He was expecting Qingming to greet him, but surprisingly, the courtyard was empty. “Where could that idiot be?” he grumbled as he walked through the courtyard, looking for him. As he walked through Qingming’s home, one of his demons, Honey Bug, came running up to him. “Master Boya” she panted, causing Boya to jolt in surprise and reach for his sword before he remembered who she was. “Honey Bug. What’s the matter?” he asked, still wary of the young demon. “It’s Master. He’s locked himself in his room and none of us can get in!” Honey Bug exclaimed. Boya frowned. “Why the hell did he do that?” he demanded. Honey Bug shook her head. “I don’t know, but none of us can get in and it’s been weeks since he last ate or drank anything” she explained. Boya tsked. “That idiot” he grumbled before he looked at Honey Bug. “Take me to him” he ordered. Honey Bug nodded before she reached out and grabbed his hand, dragging him along. Boya’s eyes widened, he had never touched a demon before, not like this. The only time he had ever touched a demon was when he was trying to kill them and that was about it. But he ignored those thoughts as he was dragged along by Honey Bug, who led him to Qingming’s living quarters. She then let go of his hand and allowed him to step forward, knocking on Qingming’s door. “Qingming? It’s me” he called out. There was no response, making him sigh. “Qingming? You need to open the door; your servants are worried about you” he called out again. Still no answer, causing him to grow irritated. “Qingming, if you don’t open this door, I’m going to break it down” he growled. After no answer for the third time, Boya let out a growl before he kicked the door, expecting it to break, but instead he was sent flying backwards instead. His eyes widened before he huffed and unsheathed his sword, stalking towards the door. Honey Bug hung back because she had already been almost attacked with that sword before, she didn’t wanna get attacked by the sword again. Boya then took his sword and swung it at the door, but the attack did nothing. “Qingming! Stop hiding and just come out already! Everyone’s worried about you, damn it!” he shouted, hoping that his angry words would get Qingming to open the door but there was still nothing. Boya groaned before he looked over at Honey Bug. “Do you happen to have one of his talismans? The kind that allows you to create a portal into another room or world” he asked. Honey Bug frowned before she quickly reached into her robe, searching until she found the talisman that he was talking about. She then handed it to him and he quickly threw it against the door, a portal soon opening up. “Fucking finally” he grumbled before he looked over at Honey Bug. “I’m going to see what his fucking problem is” he declared. Honey Bug nodded before she turned and walked off, leaving Boya alone to deal with Qingming. Once she was gone, Boya stepped into Qingming’s room, frowning when he couldn’t see a damn thing. “What the hell?” he murmured before he pulled out a candle, lighting it before lighting a few of the other candles that were in the room. After the candles had been lit, he looked around at Qingming’s room, which was an absolute mess; almost as if a storm had come through and completely tore it up. As he looked around, he noticed a large white furry mass in the darkest corner of the room, making him frown. “What the fuck is that?” he whispered as he slowly walked to the large mass, his demon senses suddenly tingling. His eyes widened and he clutched as his sword, frowning at the furry mass. “A demon?” he murmured. He knew that Qingming had demons as servants and guardians but he didn’t remember him ever having a demon of this size nor in his room before. As he got closer to the furry mass, the mass lifted its head, revealing the face of a fox with gold eyes. Boya’s eyes widened and his grip on his sword tightened; he hated all demons, but he hated fox demons the most, especially since a fox demon killed his mother. “You…what did you do to Qingming? Where’s my Qingming?” he demanded, pointing his sword at the fox demon. The fox demon’s eyes widened before it looked at Boya, its gold eyes staring into his soul. Boya frowned and stared at the golden eyes and as he stared at the gold eyes, he swore he had seem them before. ‘Where have I—’ he started when his eyes widened and he looked at the fox demon. “Qingming?” he whispered. The fox demon almost flinched at that name before it sighed heavily and before Boya’s eyes shifted, transforming back into Qingming, in his halfling form. “Qingming, you’re a—” Boya started when Qingming shook his head. “Please…don’t say it” he croaked. Boya shook his head. “I don’t…I don’t understand” he murmured. Qingming sighed heavily. “I told you, I’m the son of a fox demon…I inherited my mother’s fox demon genetics…” he murmured. Boya then motioned to the room. “What happened here?” he asked. Qingming sighed as he pushed himself to his feet, his nine tails fanning out behind him. “A bout of self-loathing and rage” he answered. Boya frowned. “What do you mean?” he asked. Qingming sighed as he looked at Boya, shifting into his human form. “I’ve never liked the fact that I can shift into a fox demon…actually, I hate that I’m a fox demon…it’s the reason my mother was killed…and I’m not normally an insecure person, but this is the one part of me that just…I try to forget that exists” he murmured. Boya frowned and motioned to him. “But the giant furry white fox?” he asked. Qingming huffed. “Seems like my emotions got out of control and I shifted into my full form” he answered. Boya was quiet before he walked over to Qingming and stood before him. “While I may hate fox demons…I don’t hate you. You shouldn’t be ashamed of you who are, Qingming” he declared. Qingming looked at him in shock. “Why? Why don’t you hate me? You should hate me; I’m just like all those other fox demons” he exclaimed. Boya shook his head. “No, you’re not. You’re not like the others, Qingming” he argued. Qingming scoffed, causing Boya to reach out and grab his face in his hands, forcing him to look at him. “Do you hear me? You’re not like the others. You’re not” he declared. Qingming looked at him and tears came to his eyes before he hung his head. “So what if you happen to be a fox demon? You’re still the Yin-Yang Master! And all you’ve ever done is help people, even demons whom most people don’t even consider worthy of help. Not you; you just try to help everyone. You’re a good person, Qingming, who just so happens to be the son of a fox demon. But there’s not a bad bone in you. You’re not a bad person. Everyone loves you, Qingming. Your master, your servants, even me. I love you, Qingming. Even as a demon, I still love you” he declared. Qingming looked up at him with wide eyes and he just smiled. “You don’t have to feel insecure anymore. Because I’ll love you for who you are. Okay?” he murmured. Qingming blinked before he sniffled and nodded, Boya immediately pulling him in for a hug, Qingming burying his face in his neck. “Thank you” he whispered. Boya smiled and reached up, gently petting Qingming’s hair as he rested his head on his shoulder. “No more hiding, okay?” he murmured. Qingming nodded as he continued to hug Boya tightly, grateful that he found a spirit guardian, and friend, in him. Boya then pulled away and clasped Qingming on the shoulders. “You should probably go check on your servants…they’ve been worried sick about you” he stated. Qingming’s eyes widened before he huffed and nodded. “Probably” he agreed before he walked over to his door and placed his hand on it, releasing the spell that held it close. He then threw it open, letting the light into the room before stepping out, pausing to look over his shoulder at Boya. “Are you coming?” he asked, a small smile on his face. Boya blinked before he chuffed, walking over to stand beside him. “Where else would I be?” he replied with a small smile. Qingming smiled before he and Boya walked away from Qingming’s room, Boya giving him a gentle nudge with his elbow. “You don’t have to hide your fox form, A-Ming” he murmured. Qingming looked over at him and frowned. “Are you sure?” he asked. Boya smiled and nodded. “I told you, didn’t I? I love you for who you are” he replied. Qingming blinked before he huffed and nodded, shifting into his halfling form. Boya then reached out, gently touching one of Qingming’s nine tails. “I never realized how soft your fur was…are all fox demon’s furs like this?” he asked, looking over at Qingming. Qingming blinked before he shook his head. “I’m not sure. The last fox demon I ever knew was my mother…I haven’t met any other fox demons, so I wouldn’t know” he replied. Boya hummed as he continued to pet Qingming’s tail, Qingming smiling softly. He was glad that Boya wasn’t afraid of him or even hated him, despite being a fox demon. As he looked at Boya as he was petting his tail, Honey Bug and a few of the other demon servants came running over to them, Honey Bug throwing herself at Qingming. “Master! You’re okay!” she exclaimed. Qingming chuckled and patted her hair. “I am, thanks to Master Boya” he replied, looking over at Boya, who blinked before he huffed. “Your Master would be hopeless without me” he declared. Qingming’s eyes widened and he smacked the back of Boya’s head with one of his tails, making Boya look at him in shock. “Did you just hit me?!” he exclaimed. Qingming smirked. “That’s for calling me hopeless” he replied. Boya huffed. “Cuz you are! If I hadn’t shown up, you probably would have been locked in your room for months!” he exclaimed. Qingming narrowed his eyes before he smacked Boya again, causing Boya to point a finger at him. “You’re on thin fucking ice, A-Ming” he declared. Qingming chuckled before he playfully smacked Boya again, this time on the man’s ass, making Boya’s eyes widen. “Yah, Qingming!” he exclaimed. Qingming laughed before he took off, Boya on his heels. “Get your ass back here, you little shit!” he shouted, chasing after Qingming, who just laughed as he continued to run through the courtyard. As Boya chased after him, his servants watched with small smiles on their faces. They too, were grateful for Boya, for being there for their master when they couldn’t and for connecting with him in a way that they couldn’t. Boya and Qingming were meant for each other and if anyone said that they weren’t, well…they were either stupid or blind.
AU Yeah AUgust Day Ten - Secret Agent
So this was a commission for @theheadgirl in which they requested for a Secret Agent AU ala early James Bond. SO, this one is more based on James Bond ‘Dr. No’, but to keep within Miraculous bounds, Secret Agent Noir basically has a majority of his tools in his staff (also plays into early James Bond and all those innuendos). As for Honey Bug... hee~
I’m going to continue working on today’s prompt and we’ll talk later. And if you want to get a commission during this month, click here to see more details. Bye bye!

Good Morning master Boya. Do you want a drink with me?
Don’t be scared master Boya. This is my Spirit Guardian, Honey Bug.
Six Sentence Sunday
In an effort to get myself going again, I figured I'd start trying to do a few writeblr exercises, and one was Six Sentence Sunday. (I couldn't resist @purpleyin's beautiful banner, which just makes this even more fun!) My six sentences are from the latest, unbetaed and unposted chapter of "A Waterfall of Gold Sparks."
"Zhongxing gave Qingming my talisman," Gold Spirit muttered, setting his face forward once more and focusing on the wall rather than the spirit guardian settled just beside him.
"But you decided," she countered, a smile in her voice. As Gold Spirit tried to figure out what to say in response, Honey Bug waited, silent and patient in a way that almost confused Gold Spirit. At length, when none of the responses seemed quite right and Honey Bug remained sitting, eyes on her hands and body held so still that she might have been a statue, Gold Spirit released a sight of frustration. Almost immediately, Honey Bug looked back up. "Yes?"
