"You know that you are always welcome in the Grove. What Kagha did was unspeakable, and not at all what my people stand for... For that, I must ask for your forgiveness." @honeydrvid

Zevlor had settled into a quieter spot toward the edge of camp, his mostly-empty tankard held somewhat loose in both hands. Forearms draped atop his thighs, he watched his fellow refugees with a subdued smile. They deserved every moment to relax and celebrate as they could find, especially when they would soon be traveling again.
As if his thoughts had been loud enough to hear, the Archdruid - the true Archdruid, in Zevlor's opinion - approached him with a ready reassurance. That it was then followed by a request for forgiveness, however, had his back straightening a little. Rather than crane his neck any further, Zevlor stood to face Halsin, setting his tankard aside.
"Of course you have it." He knew well that leaders should take responsibility for their followers' actions, but still, allowing Halsin to bear a portion of the blame didn't sit easy with Zevlor. "The fault is hers, and those who aligned with her. You are neither, and many of your people fought admirably beside mine."
