Your dad had been working really hard, like always. And today you decided to force him to come out with you. Of course you couldn't just go out, your dad was Michael Jackson for crying out loud. So your father decided to buy out the mall you wanted to go to, just for a couple hours.

You guys were going around the mall, shopping and playing around. You were telling your dad about stuff he'd been missing out on and some new things you figured out about yourself and your life while he was busy, also giving him the tea (He love to gossip 😛). In one store you found a glove, just like your fathers so you decided to put it on and started acting like him "Hehe, Billie Jean is not my lover" You sang before spinning around and hitting a pose, causing Michael to let out a little giggle "You got some moves, kid" "I learn for the best" You smirked before taking the glove off and placing it back down.

You guys then moved on to the next store, which was a toy store. Yes you were grown, but you are just like your dad. You LOVE toys. You walked into the store and one plush in particular caught your eye. "Oh my gosh" You gasped, walking over to it and grabbing it. it was a pink monkey with hearts all over it. It made you instantly think of your girlfriend. "Oh, my girlfriend would love th-" You froze mid word, you forgot you were even with your dad. One of the people you haven't came out to yet.

You slowly looked over towards your dad, just to see him looking in your direction. But you couldn't see his eyes due to his shades. "Did you say girlfriend?" Michael asked "Um- i..... Yeah" He stayed silent for a second, looking the other way before turning back toward your direction "How long?" From his tone, you thought he was mad. Which scared you a little. "Um.... six months"

Silence.

He then slowly took his shades off and looked up at you "Why have you never told me?" He asked. "I-i didn't know how you would take it" He nodded slowly "Where did you met?" "At a party" "Is she good to you?" "the best" "Then i dont see a problem"

Your eyes lit up

"Really? I-i thought you wouldn't take it well" "I dont care who you date baby, you're my daughter" You smiled "Yeah, i guess so."

"So, do you know what you are. Do you still like boys, or just girls?" He asked "Im a lesbian dad" He nodded slowly "I just dont know why you hide it from me for six months, im your dad sweetie. You can tell me anything" "I know, i was just scared and didn't know how to really bring it up" "Yeah, well at least i know now right?" "Yeah"

"I love you applehead" "I love you too dad"

"Now when do i get to meet this lady of your life" "Okay not to fast dad, let's finish shopping first"

You said, leading you to both let out a string of laughter.

PAIRING: MICHAEL JACKSON X BLACK!FEM!SINGER!READER

SUMMARY: (This is Aaliyah inspired if it's not obvious) You are doing rehearsals for your up and coming show and Michael decided to stop by.

Note: It took me a while to come up with this, so enjoy. 😋 (I lowkey didn't know how to write this, cause im lowkey still in writers block. Sooo i asked my friend to help me with this, we kinda have different writing styles so sorry if some parts are different then others. Cause i rather have the writing styles be different then use ai 😪 too many people on here use ai so i would like to not be one of them. Anyways, thank my friend Jess for helping 😛)

You stood in the middle of the dance studio with a mic in your hand as you rehearsed for your up and coming show, your backup dancers dancing around you as you sung "i dont mean to be bold, but i gotta let you know."

The music echoed through the room, bass vibrating beneath your sneakers as you moved across the floor.

"Again from the top!" your choreographer called.

You nodded, pushing a few loose strands of hair behind your ear.

Your outfit was simple for rehearsal—low-rise cargo pants, a fitted tank top, and a cropped jacket tied around your waist. Comfortable enough to dance in, but still stylish.

The track restarted.

You took your position.

Five.

Six.

Seven.

Eight.

The dancers moved in sync around you as you stepped forward, hitting every mark you'd spent weeks memorizing. By the second chorus, sweat was beginning to form along your forehead. You were so focused that you didn't notice the studio door opening.

Or the man slipping quietly inside.

A few of the dancers noticed first. Their eyes widened. One of them elbowed another. The whispers started immediately. You, however, remained completely unaware.

Michael stood near the back wall with his hands tucked into the pockets of his black slacks. A pair of sunglasses rested on his face despite being indoors. His shoulder-length hair framed his face perfectly, and a small smile tugged at the corner of his lips as he watched you perform.

He'd only stopped by for a few minutes. At least that had been the plan. Then he'd seen you dancing. And suddenly thirty minutes didn't seem long enough.

The music ended.

You finally looked up. The room had gone strangely quiet.

Your brow furrowed.

"Why everybody lookin' at me like that?"

Nobody answered. Instead, several people looked toward the back of the room.

Confused, you followed their gaze.

The second you spotted Michael, your entire expression changed.

"Oh."

A grin spread across your face.

"So, you came to support me?"

"Yes, and i think you're doing an amazing job."

"Well, i learned from the best" You smiled. He let out a little giggle, his hand coming up to cover his mouth.

"Oh, stop..."

Before either of you could say anything else, your choreographer clapped his hands.

"Alright! Break's over. Back to your places."

You sighed dramatically.

"See? They won't even let me enjoy my company." "You should probably listen to him," Michael laughed.

"You sound just like my manager."

"I'll take that as a compliment."

Rolling your eyes with a smile, you jogged back to your mark. The dancers slipped into formation around you while the music cued back up.

Five.

Six.

Seven.

Eight.

The beat dropped. This time, you knew exactly where Michael was standing. You told yourself you wouldn't look. You lasted all of ten seconds. During the first verse, you glanced toward the back wall.

Sure enough—

There he was.

Hands tucked into his pockets, rocking lightly with the beat, smiling like he'd bought front-row tickets.

A grin tugged at your lips.

The next eight-count had you walking toward his side of the room before spinning away at the last second, flashing him a cocky smile over your shoulder. His smile widened.

"You know," he called just loud enough for you to hear, "you're supposed to be rehearsing."

"I am!" you shot back between lyrics. "Looks like you're flirting."

"So?"

A couple of your dancers burst into laughter. "Girl, leave that man alone!" one of them yelled. "I can't help it," you replied with a shrug. "He cute."

Michael instantly ducked his head, laughing into his hand. "Oh, my goodness..."

"You blushing?" you teased as you danced past him again.

"No." "You lyin'."

"I'm not." "You are."

"I am not." "You smiling too hard."

"I'm just enjoying the show." "Mhm."

The bridge arrived.

You walked backward through the choreography, never taking your eyes off him until the very last beat, then gave him the smallest wink before spinning into the next formation. Michael froze for half a second.

"...Did she just wink at me?"

One of the dancers laughed. "She definitely did."

He let out another shy laugh, rubbing the back of his neck. "She's gonna make me leave." "You ain't going nowhere!" you called across the studio. "I thought you were supposed to be concentrating!"

"I can multitask!" "Apparently."

The music ended with everyone hitting their final pose. Silence. Then Michael started clapping first.

"Beautiful," he said, still smiling. "Absolutely beautiful."

You walked over, breathing a little heavier from the routine. "So..." you asked, placing a hand on your hip. "Was I distracting?"

He laughed. "You know you were."

"And did it work?"

Michael looked at you for a second before letting out that soft,

unmistakable giggle. "...Maybe a little."

You threw both hands into the air triumphantly.

"Ha! I knew it."

He shook his head. "You are impossible."

"But you love me."

His eyes softened. "I do."

"Exactly."

One of your dancers groaned dramatically.

"Can y'all stop being adorable for, like... five minutes?"

You and Michael looked at each other before breaking into laughter.

Note: Just a short lil story from anon before i finish the request i got, also from another anon. Cause im lowkey stuck at the smut part, so i got to do a fluff. Any who, as always. You were out with your friends, you guys were having brunch and shopping at the mall. You guys are at the mall right now, walking around, going store to store buying stuff. At one point you were in a store and bought some shoes that you thought Cameron would like for football. You and your friends spent about an hour in the mall and you were finally leaving.

In the car as on of your friends drove, you heard your phone ring. You pulled it out of your pocket just to see it was Cameron facetiming you. You grabbing your airpods out of your pocket and connected then, putting one in your ear before answering the phone.

"Hey baby, we just left the mall, i bought you some--" "Baby i need help" You heard Cameron say though your airpod. "With what, Cam?" You asked "The laundry" "What about the laundry?" You saw him set up his phone against what you could only guess was the washer. "Umm" He reached up, scratching his head. "Which clothes do i put in the dryer?" He asked "You for real?" You questioned "Yes ma." "Why are you asking me?" "Cause mama, i dont wanna shrink shit." He said as he moved out of the camera, only to come back in frame with wet clothes in his hands.

You let out a laugh "Oh my gosh, you're serious?" "You think im playing? Yes ma, im serious." "Okay, okay. I'll help."

You spent almost ten minutes telling Cameron which clothes to put in the dryer and which to hang dry. Once you finished he smiled. "I mean, i could have totally did that by myself. I was just letting you watch me do it so you wont be complaining later." He said, running his hand over his hair. "Right, right. Whatever you say boo" "I love you" He said coming close to the camera, doing duck lips. You let out a giggle. "I love you too" You said, bringing your phone closer to your face. Doing duck lips as well, before you both pulled away. "Alright, see you when you get home ma." "See you, baby"
