Dreamy just between us girls do u have observe stay and think…my god we’ve fallen so far if I was someone who didn’t know skz and just witnessed their fandom I wouldn’t want to interact at all

Dom I am so constantly embarrassed by every stay i find outside of tumblr with so few exceptions that it is baffling to the mind. it is at the point where if i see one in the wild i will turn around because they could be so armchair coded like most of the fandom is becoming that i cower in fear of a wild skzoo. tbh i fear all wild kpop stans at this point because either they could be insane about skz or insane about hating skz lol

(which is so sad because all i want is to find someone like i used to in 2017 when I’d see a wild fellow army and just be excited to talk to them. we've fallen so far. sad how i've been through this twice with kpop fandoms and yet any 1d looking girly i am like ENGAGE the second i can tell.)

Skz has started to feel like an example of what happens when a groups concept has broken into the boundaries of reality and fans (mostly post oddinary stay) really believe these are 8 outcasted boys who live on the borders of society when they’re…rich and part of now one of the most popular bg and like doing fine (aside from probably the mental duress of being a kpop idol but u know) like I’m sorry skz aren’t the underdogs people want them to be, even if we could say they used to be the underdogs of jyp because back in like the CLE days their music wasn’t well received at all, they’re literally fine I promise sbs gayo wasn’t attempting to sabotage stray kids for no benefit at all

and I see this with stay and atiny a lot lately and idk if it’s the nature of the groups concepts or their songs or it’s just any 4th gen boy group that has an alternative image where they’re ur typical rabid feral kpop stan but then with an exacerbated not like other girls complex and it’s EXHAUSTING

dom sometimes the delulu is so good and sometimes the delulu is so bad lmoa. even if they were sabotaged by a stupid ass award show it doesnt mean anything. skz have been disrespected for so long by so many ppl i dont think it matters at this point. fans get to caught up in defending their faves over the most insane shit that it makes the things that matter seem crazy too. i think with skz the crazy hit when hyunjin had to go on hiatus and some ppl were just never the same again. i do think this is just truly a kpop thing because we've seen it with all the exo vs bts bullshit that has been happening for 84 years. im just glad we are a tiny corner where at least for the most part if u hate a sgroup or fandom you just block them and move on. anyway i love you dom im glad we're the right delulu together uwu
