Little Kaz & Lee sneak off to find out more about the place known as "Honmaru" I don't know whether or not it works within the story, I just thought it would be interesting.

New garden for my toudan ;-)
Honmaru palace inside of Nagoya castle :)
This feels oddly out of place inside this castle (^-^;) I quite liked seeing it as its existence is a sign of appreciation of the carpenters skills and of the historic significance of this place :) It is also nice to see this new and polished looking building in an old and partly overgrown castle :) As a 日曜日大工 (Sundaywoodworker :) <=although my Japanese friends tell me that I should stop calling myself that and tell me I’m just like proper 大工 (Daiku :) it still feels weird to me because I know that while I can achieve similar results I’m nowhere near as quick as them and don’t yet know enough about the layout of the pieces and dwellings made by true 大工.
I was very happy seeing the nice planed surfaces of the wood inside the palace and to see the great paintings on the Fusuma (sliding room dividers/doors :) Usually the palaces you can see in Japan are old so the wood is tarnished and discoloured but seeing a fresh one is quite interesting and fascinating too as this is what the people back then would have seen :)
I’m always amazed by the quality of wood they have in Japan as I have never seen anything like that being used on Germany :o The wood being used in the UK, France and Belgium is better quality but the Japanese soft woods are just amazingly dense and knot free :o
It was one of my favourite sights in Nagoya :) Seeing an old style but new Japanese palace inside and an old Japanese castle was great :)
I wish I could see the wood on this palace age :3
I also wish everyone a great time with sweet dreams (^-^)/
