Leon got lost on Route 9 & found refuge in Spikemuth - He’s only ever heard about how ‘bad’ that city is. He was surprised to find another kid around his age there.

After spending the night safe in Spikemuth with his new friend Piers, Leon’s friends had arrived to regroup.

(The woman behind Piers in this picture is his mother Lynette.)

Thankfully, this wouldn't be the last that Leon would see of his new friend. They would eventually meet again a year or two later, when they all registered for the Gym Challenge.
