Fell down a Wikipedia rabbit hole while looking up whether Jack Ryan, in 1992’s Patriot Games, was even eligible to be award Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, (KCVO).

Ended up looking up multiple orders and listed of those who rejected or returned the medals.

No, he actually isn’t eligible, by the way. He could be made a Honourary Member but not a regular member as he is not a citizen of the Commonwealth. I’m not actually sure what the difference is though.
