Trekking across the mountain ranges separating Blackthorn from Mahogany was always a difficult task. Even some of the most fit and in-shape trainers choose to travel via the ice path. However, Clair wasn't much for the bitterness of the caves and prefered a challenge. And so she finds herself climbing, almost barely losing her footing, up the mountains until finally she reaches the top. 

Hunched and staggering to catch her breath, the dragoness breaths the fresh air. Standing upright again, it is then that she notices someone else taking in the unspoiled beauty of the mountaintops – a charizard– and she smiles ever so slightly.

Cautiously, Clair approaches the beast..

Vasco’s tail gave a swift whipping movement as he was standing outside Po Town, watching the fire type down the hill. Was that a riding charizard? If so, it was straying off his path a lot. The houndoom was about to return to his trainer but this caught his attention.
