Light a Red Candle within a Hood-Lamp of some sort (in my case, the Lanthorn,) and proceed to consecrate the working space and raise your power.
Create a Poppet, ideally incorporating a taglock from your target within it. As you craft it, name it aloud, again and again, identifying the poppet with your target as thoroughly as you are able. Thereafter, write out your target's full name and pin it to the poppet over the location of the heart, saying "By the writ of your true name, your essence is affixed!"
Next, fill an opaque vessel with War Water, Urine, Blackberry bramble, and a single Iron Nail.
Using a black cord, begin to tightly wrap and bind the poppet, until the entire body is enclosed in a dark cocoon, chanting an incantation thrice as you do so:
"I bind you in darkness—
Apart and alone—
I bind you in darkness (insert name!)
I bind you in starkness—
Your due is here sown—
I bind you in starkness (insert name!)
By apathy repaid in spite,
By fetters that I weave from will,
I seal you up (insert name!)
I charge you with a lonesome plight,
And snare you with my baleful skill,
To insulate you (inset name!)"
Finish the incantation and wrapping with a call of "Sīe!" and then drop the bound poppet into the vessel.
Close and seal the vessel with red wax from the candle, and then fumigate it with Licorice root as you call upon the power of a spirit closely associated with malefice.
Close out the rite, and thereafter, if at all possible, take the constructed Cantrip Flask to be buried somewhere upon the property of your target. If this can't be achieved, then bury it in the Eastern crook of a Crossroads, along with a Libation of Whiskey and Hot Chiles.
