Anyone got a spare jetty? Looks like the Hook Island Resort Underwater Observatory took a bit of a hammering during TC Debbie last year. This resort was pumping back in the 80's and sits snuggled into a private bay down the end of Hook Passage where the waters push out towards Border Island. There is a great fishing spot on the Southern side, but watch out - the waters can get quite turbulent at times making for a thrilling ride through the passage! . . . #hookisland #underwaterobservatory #bowledbytcdebbie #TCDebbie #hookpassage #sailingsvsarean #sailorsofinstragram #sailingvideos (at Hook Island Wilderness Resort)
Much braver en route. Not so much #downunder - a typical underwater scene. Rick our dive instructor gives me the "are you 👌🏽" sign. And I panic and give the 👍 "gotta head back up" sign. Pretty much it went like this. 👌🏽👍👌🏽👍👌🏽👍👌🏽👍 until we all had enough. I was than scooted off by boat to meet up with the snorkel group so Bianca and Rick could actually go for a real dive :) I gave it a whirl. I did go under. Just not very deep. #GreatBarrierReef #MeAndB #HaymanIsland #OneAndOnly #downunder #WhitSundayIslands #whatsnext #HookIsland (at One&Only Hayman Island)

Hook Island!
