We have been visiting Wexford all day yesterday. That was a typical rainy ☔ day and unusual misty Summer Tour. So the original idea was to see and take lovely pictures at the Lavender Fields. Due to the bad weather we decided to see the Hook Lighthouse instead and first. There will be another time to do the Lavender Fields I am pretty sure. As it was Summer it did not feel cold on my feet in case you were wondering about it 😂 Did you know that the lighthouse was probably the first in the world? Built in 1169 with four floors and 115 stairs! Since March 1996 the Hook Lighthouse was improved to an automatic system watched by the Dun Laoghaire Harbour Company.
