Ok so to be completely honest if everyone, I love the movie, but there are definitely some things I would change about the movie:

1) Griffin should've been the one that Hope found out about, not Billy.

I know this has been states multiple times, but Griffin is the missing boy we knew the least about. I feel like it would've made much more sense that we found out more about him. I personally feel like the only reason why they haven't went this route is because Griffin never had a dream sequence, which even than, they could've had someone with a similar height & hair to dress up as Griffin to not face the camera. Maybe they did & they just didn't like the end result but I still think it should've been Griffin instead of Billy. It would've kept up consistencies & it would've been really cool to see some Griffin scenes even without showing his face. Honestly, maybe even symbolic since no one really knew Griffin. Also, someone got my hopes up & said Griffin made a phone call to Gwen in the basement so I may have been expecting that & was deeply disappointed but you get the point.

2) They should've kept most of their deleted scenes.

I'm not sure why they got rid of them (possibly running time but I feel like the movie deserved to be a bit longer), but the ones I've seen would honestly would've made the movie even better. The ones with Ernesto, Mustang & Mando? Should've been kept in, ESPECIALLY Ernesto's & Mustang's. It would've definitely added more to Ernesto's & Mustang's characters & help shine a bit more in the movie.

3) Barbara & Ken should've died.

This might be more of a very personal opinion, but considering the fact the only deaths that happened were the boys, Hope, & the Grabber's, I feel like Barbara's & Ken's death would've made the death count more complete? Like, we had 6 people who were revealed to have die at the hands of the Grabber in the first movie & it would've been cool if that pattern had continued.

4) MORE ERNESTO SCENES!

Ernesto is literally Robin's little brother & Gwen's boyfriend, I feel like he should've definitely gotten more scenes to help him because more fleshed out. I still love his character because he's genuinely sweet despite being VERY awkward, but he definitely should've been used more as a character in the movie. And most importantly, we should've DEFINITELY gotten know more about his thoughts as well.

5)THERE SHOULD'VE DEFINITELY HAD A GRABBER & ERNESTO INTERACTION!

I'm sorry, but Ernesto is literally the brother of one of the Grabber's victims. There should be no way that those 2 didn't interact. OR AT LEAST HAVE THE GRABBER TRY TO KILL ERNESTO! Finney & Gwen would've definitely tried to protect Ernesto & it would've allowed the Grabber to get an open shot of at least harming Gwen AND Finney even more during the climax. Also, "I killed your brother, & now I kill you," opportunity the Grabber could've been used before trying to kill you would've been great in my eyes. Maybe Gwen, Finney or even MUSTANG could've noticed something happening to Ernesto & helped him out. Or, possibly, maybe Ernesto takes a quick step back, step forward, step back & swing at the Grabber before having him & Gwen get to physical safety. Again, missed opportunity on their part.

And finally . . .

6) ROBIN ARELLANO SHOULD'VE BEEN HAUNTING THE NARRATIVE EVEN MORE.

That just would've been so narrativly rich. They could've talked more about Robin, have Ernesto and/or Robin carry around a bandana, maybe even have the GRABBER taunting Finney/Ernesto with Robin. Maybe even have more of Finney doing similar mannerisms to Robin, OR EVEN HAVE FINNEY HAVE A FLASHBACK OF ROBIN WITH HIS FACE NOT SHOWING. BIGGEST MISSED OPPORTUNITY HERE!

I still love this movie though, just wished they realized they could've made the movie even better that it already is.
