I think I printed out more than I actually got to read. There are three stacks of papers with scribbles down the margins and sticky notes all over my wall. Down the rabbit hope I go.....pls send coffee.
the way some of these “blackpill “ feminists write it’s like they’re incels in disguise. Weirdly fetishized writing style, maybe they consumed too much fanfic growing up

Your bedroom fills with a warm temperature, simply fitting for the nice morning. Yuki sits on the bed as you strut around in your new kimono. Your funny faces and poses make his laughter fill the room. The morning simply couldn’t feel any better. Except it could get worse. You both need to go to work soon.
You strike one last pose that causes Yuki to fall over in laughter, holding his sides. The sight of him truly happy overwhelms you with a new type of joy that could only come from him. After your final pose, you grab your work bag.
“Alright,” You sigh, “I’m gonna head off for work.”
The laughter subsides, “Oh...okay.” His eyes hint a bit of sadness, “I’ll see you later tonight.”
“Yuki,” You set your bag down by the door, “are you okay?”
“I’m fine!” Yuki’s voice sounds strained, “You have work to do! So go!” He runs over, picks up your bag, and shoves it in your arms.
The push makes you stumble out the doors, “Okay okay, but you know where I am if you need me.” A small worry pit forms in your chest.
He nods, “Understood. Now go make things.”
“I will.” You start sliding the door shut, pausing with a few inches of space, “Love you.”
Yuki’s face goes red as he shuffles on his feet, “Love you too.”
You smile and close the door. A soft sigh escapes your lips before you turn to go to work. You know he would tell you if anything was truly wrong. He always does. It just doesn’t stop you from worrying.
Continuing on the day, you head off to work. You decide to go deliver some kimonos and talk to some new clients. While you’re out delivering, you notice a certain familiar figure pacing on the end of a block. He freezes as he notices you, but you just walk closer. As you approach him, you notice how red his face is.
You pause and wave him over to you, “Hey Yuki!”
Yuki draws one final breath before he starts walking over. He stops abruptly in front of you with his hands behind his back. “Hi.”
“What’s up?” You tilt your head, ready for a blushy answer. He seems nervous, and it almost makes you want to quit work to help him with whatever he’s struggling with.
Yuki shifts back and forth on his feet awkwardly. “I...uh…” His eyes wander on everywhere except you.
“Yuki,” You smile in attempt to calm him, “you can just say whatever you’re thinking. I’m here for you.” You’ve learned to become more patient with him, but you always make sure to push him bit by bit.
He takes a deep breath, closing his eyes, “I know you’re working, but can I….maybe,” He looks down at his feet, “come with you because I-uhm…..I miss seeing your face?” With the last word, Yuki looks up at you. His face is even redder then when he walked up to you.
A small laugh comes from under your breath as you realize why he’d been so sad this morning. He just wanted to spend time with you. The dork just didn’t know how to say it right.
You step forward, taking his face between your hands, “Of course you can come with me. I would love to have your company.” Your soft smile seems to ease the tension in his shoulders.
“Tha-thank you. I promise I won’t be a bother-” You roll your eyes and cut him off with a kiss. He tenses again at the sudden contact, but melts into your lips once his brain processes what happened.
Breaking the kiss, you whisper into his lips, “Now, we’ve got work to do. Come on.”
Yuki follows you around on your orders for a few more hours without as much as a few words here and there. He simply just wanted to be in your presence. So, of course, you start poking fun at him to loosen up the atmosphere. You send funny faces and random poses his way when no one else is watching. Yuki attempts to contain his laughter, but fails a majority of the time.
Right before you walk into the next shop, you poke Yuki’s stomach, make a face, and run into the shop. He pauses in shock then chases after you, with laughs spilling out of his mouth.
“You two are working quite hard I see.” The client smiles at the sight of you two.
You nod in silly agreement, “Very hard.”
You and the client talk over some specifics of the work while Yuki wanders around their shop. After you both finish talking, you thank them for commissioning you then turn to find your boyfriend playing with some dolls. He quickly puts them back on the shelf as he sees you watching and refuses to acknowledge any such action was done. You just pull him out of the shop in response.
Yuki bursts into laughter once you’re kind of far away from the shop, “We are so NOT working hard.” His blissful smile makes your heart skip a beat.
“Eh,” You shrug, “working hard and hardly working are close enough right?” Yuki rolls his eyes at your remark. You give him a clever smirk and a kiss on the cheek as you two continue down the road.
