This was the 2nd of 3 posters I got to design for @bouncingsoulsnj !!! #TheBouncingSouls were always a favorite band of mine. Aside from creating great and memorable music, they were always NICE people! I have a funny about how I introduced my mom to the band at the 2004 warped tour. Can't wait to tell you that someday... During this period of my life, I was doing a LOT of poster work for the almighty @thetroubadour. It was my art (and business) school. One of the perks of working for Christine and "the Troub" was that I got to go to shows for free! I still remember how much fun these shows were! @hotwatermusicofficial killed it that night as well. At the end of their set, the Souls came out and they all did HWM's #TrustyChords". Then, out of the blue
Your love arose like July
In January
A hopeless romantic
I loved you and the way we blended so perfectly together
I thought you would save me
But I’ve had this thought before
I thought maybe this would be the last time
That I wouldn’t have to wait
That you would be my prince
My charming and light
I’ve been in the dark so long
You opened a door I had forgotten was there
I stumbled my way forward
and I was shocked to be doing so well
