Say, do you know about hopperhawks? I've heard a bit about it recently and you're the person i know of with the most semi-obscure mcyt knowledge, was wondering if you could help me figure out where to start it?

YOU'VE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE BECAUSE I AM PART OF HOPPERHAWKS

right now there's two Hopperhawks series ongoing: Hubris (by bewildercraft) and Reverie (by NueVideo)!

Hubris is a singleplayer series using the Hubris modpack where W4RD3N, the team's lovable engineer, has gotten separated from the rest of the hopperhawks and has to find a way to contact them while fighting off the taint consuming the world and.. something else that's got their eye on them. i love hubris so, SO much, warden's got great personality, a fun build style, and a really cool story they're building up to.

Reverie is another singleplayer series, this time using vanilla minecraft and starring Elytra. it's atmospheric, it's mysterious, and it's unfortunately got some technical issues, but i still recommend it and not just because it's by my friend lmao

we have plans for more stuff that gets more of the team involved alongside singleplayer stories, but right now Hubris and Reverie are pretty good starts :D

new hopperhawk oc! because i was exploring the tovalyn map download on bedrock and rev is very difficult to recreate in the bedrock skin editor, but you know who is easy to recreate? intern Leon!

the basic lowdown on this guy is that he's a counterpart to Leon from Crossing Limbo, who i think is known best as "that guy who has an AI in his brain and punched a hole through limbo with his entire body, which broke the cycle of life and death". so obviously having a counterpart of that guy as part of an organization dedicated to preserving and stabilizing worlds is a great idea. hey, likelihood of him breaking something is lowered if he's given the right tools?

most of the hopperhawks we know about so far are focused on java and modded worlds, so Leon specializes in bedrock! and also has interest in anything relating to the Singularity. he's a lumian because i've been drawing a lot of those lately and he deserves to be glowy, and also because i invented him for the purpose of exploring Fixxiverse world downloads and y'all have seen my headcanons about Dohan.

he's a klutz and gets turned around easily, but is starting to get the hang of things the more he's out in the field. his buddy, as crowdsourced by the 77-2 vc, is an intelligent superpowered roomba capable of Ludicrous Speed and protecting Leon from shattering all of his bones on impact with various surfaces. he's a bit pathetic and is all of my Fixxiverse-related autism crammed into a short glowy man.

expression/anatomy practice with rev turned into some celshading experimentation!

rev’s bones are made of solid crystal of an unknown origin that doesn’t really have an equivalent to anything else (asides from looking kinda like labradorite). they’re hard to damage-- they CAN be fractured, but it takes a lot of force-- and their claws&teeth can either leave a mark or pierce through a good amount of materials. getting bit by rev is REALLY bad because you’ll Probably lose that limb! so, uh, dont get bit

rev also miiiight be one-of-a-kind? im still figuring out their species, but rn it doesnt have a name or anything bc they might just. be rev. their origins are Complicated

im not sure what wouldve pissed rev off enough for them to make this face because theyre typically very chill? actually no i can think of One thing but it probably wont happen. maybe. We Can Only Hope

UHHHH HI I DIDNT THINK I’D GET THIS FAR BUT OKAY!

this is V! they’re a character that’s part of a mcrp group called Hopperhawks i do with solar @betweenlands + warden @bewildercraft + a couple other friends! they’re a glitch in the code of a world that happened to gain a form + sentience and joined the hawks early on to travel throughout the multiverses.

some facts about them:

they use he/she/they pronouns interchangeably (with a preference towards they)

they don’t like water and can’t swim very well

they can purr, although said “purring” sounds more like low-pitched tv static

they have paw beans.

their form tends to fray/blur around the edges when feeling intense emotions (such as joy, rage, anguish, etc), so they try to keep their cool as much as possible
