This beer is one of my seasonal hoppy staples; it first came out when the "Maine IPA" craze was kind of in its infancy, and continues to hold its own against the new wave IPA on the market. This is a really good balance between a juicy NEIPA and a west coast style ( think like Pliny ) BIG BIG beer, a touch of booziness and all the hops . All of them. The malt really pulls it all together, with a touch of sweetness to kind of wrangle the big hop flavor. Hops are resinous, with pine and citrus- then coming in with some seriously juicy pineapple 🍍. I like this beer so much, I own 2 of the exact same cutter thermals. This is the perfect "cool fall evening" IPA.
