it's funny how average hilson interaction in s1-2 can be boiled down to "look at how house looked at him! how wilson caressed his broken hand!" while average forehouse interaction is the most gutting show of trust and dependancy and respect you would ever expect from 2000s tv-show

i think the reason i Rlly Don't ship choreman is bc NONE of the choreman content is about foreman. NONE. i have seen maybe 3 people who cared abt foreman's pov in regards to choreman.

the look on house's face when marcus tells him about his and foreman's mother..... him doing the whole 'im going to be a dick to give you guys a common enemy' thing to engineer their reconciliation.... again, house continues to have moments of vulnerability/compassion/hidden kindness specifically about foreman and gets invested in his life and personal matters on just an entirely different level.

rewatching the pilot and i think this is the moment foreman became house's favourite. like i love chase md and it does make sense, but foreman as the one who was like house in very obvious ways* and was house's favourite(and perhaps had gone things differently, might have even inherited diagnostics) is so special to me especially since it's set up since the pilot.

*i mean i think all the OG ducklings have things in common with house and are meant to parallel him, yes even cameron, just that like over the course of the show it's shown time and time again that foreman is very similar to house and struggles with it because he does NOT want to be like him and actively tries to not be like him.
