A look of amusement tempers the lines of Cruella’s face, sparking a dissonance with the forced irritation of her voice. “Anita, dah-ling, puh-leeze. What is it that you think we make here? Clothes? Just clothes? Dah-ling, I make wearable art! Do try to keep up; the price reflects the quality of the craftsmanship, the caliber of our materials, the genius of our design! These aren’t bargain bin dresses.” She snorts, a puff of cigarette smoke swirling from her nostrils, as though she were some great dragon or horrible machine. “Have you ever seen someone like Twiggy in department store chic? No, I don’t think so.” A thin hand flutters dismissively in the air, fanning the fumes as she waves off the question. “Don’t be an embarrassment, dah-ling; you can’t put a price on high art.”

     It’s the first time that question ever cuts deep down to his heart. It was easy with the others to say no. Love never became an issue. Until her. He made the choice. He wanted her. Why? Why didn’t he follow Lucille’s plan as he always had? What had it been about Edith that pulled him in a different direction? Love. It had always been love from the very beginning. 

❝ Edith... ❞ Voice nearly cracks under the pressure, eyes pleading with her while hands reach out to steady her only to be met with resistance. Resistance well founded and less than what he deserves. 

❝ I did... I do. ❞ Why else had he told her never to drink the tea again? Why he stopped preparing it and his outbursts with Lucille began? He doesn’t understand what they’re doing anymore... why it ever became this way. He hates it. If there’s one thing Thomas can do now, it’s fix the wrongs he’s made the only way he knows how.

The difference of breaking down a charicters head before sketching

It's an extra step but this will take you a good step forward in improving anatomy. I'm defiantly not the best example of this, but it brings a sense of cannyness back to the face.
