i’m going to make this short & sweet

we’re in the last leg of our indiegogo. our kickstarter unfortunately failed. we’re nowhere near our goal, but we’ve been trucking along anyway. the great thing about indiegogo is that even if we don’t reach our goal, we still get funded with everything that people donate.  

we’re going to bring books and literature to people who need and love them across the US. we’re living in the bus full time and have put all of our efforts into making this a reality, including giving up our apartments, jobs, and much more. 

even if you can’t donate, you can help spread the word, but $10 goes a long way.

The Road Virus finally heads north!

After months and months of renovation work (and quite a bit of waiting around), Jolene is definitely looking a lot more like a home and business. 

Unfortunately, the process of getting everything seaworthy took way more time and money than expected. As a result, we’ve had to speed up our first voyage into the world as a fully functioning business. We had originally intended on making quite a few stops along the east coast, but we need to get to PA by the 27th. 

We will be in the following cities on these dates, and will be available by appointment only. 

Charlotte, NC - 5/24 Baltimore, MD - 5/26 

We’ll arrive in Centralia at night on the 26th, and plan to officially open up shop there on the 28th. 

From there, our timeline is open and we’ll be planning more stops in the northeast. If you have a spot where we could set up shop, we’re happy to drop in! 

We know we’ve been relatively quiet, but these past few months have held a lot of grueling work, and it’s all been well worth it. Not to mention, we’ve gone quite a but stir crazy baking in the Florida heat. As of this upcoming Sunday, we are officially on the road for good, and we couldn’t be more excited. 

In the meantime, please check out our shop and patrons pages. All funds are helpful in getting us solidly on the road.

The Road Virus heads east

After far too much time sitting around and waiting, we're finally mechanically sound and mentally ready––tomorrow morning, The Road Virus officially hits the road. We're heading to Florida to have a friend finish our renovations, and then we're officially 100% in business. Tonight, we'll be mapping out our route and will decide on a few stops along the way from California to Florida. You could be the first person to peruse our shelves as a customer! Our mailing list––for updates, new route stops, and more––will be live tonight. This has been an incredible journey thus far, and we can't wait to get on the road.

Our first coat of interior paint is going up, and Jolene feels even more like home now. We can't wait to be on the road, bringing subversive, enlightening fringe literature to people across the nation.
