Everytime i draw my OCs i feel an intense shame about wasting my potential on not drawing something popular or working on something productive that would further my career, but i do regardless so here are my brain babies
I saw Scary Movie in theaters yesterday and well.
I didn’t really find it that funny. Comedy doesn’t always work that well for me anyway, especially when it leans too much into obvious, crude humor. I need a bit more than just loud, dirty and trying hard to be offensive.
The movie relies a lot on sex jokes, stoner humor, very direct references and a few political jabs in all directions. I don’t have a problem with any of that in general. But here it was just a bit too much for me at times, and too often the same kind of vibe.
Still, I really wanted to see it. The first Scary Movie was part of my teen years, and I was curious to see how they would parody all the newer horror films. Especially because I’ve seen pretty much all of them.
And that was probably the most interesting part for me. Not really the jokes themselves, but the recognition. Scream, M3GAN, Terrifier, the Final Destination parody, which I actually found really funny, and all those modern horror references thrown into complete Scary Movie chaos.
So for me, not a big comedy win. But as a nostalgic, dumb little horror-reference ride, it was still kind of interesting.
Tiny note. There are two little extras during the credits, so maybe don’t run out right away.
If your a horror fan watch tmnt 2012. You'll love it! Especially season 3!
algún día dejaré de compararme con ella ..
