Frankenstein - Rina Sawayama

Grabbed a default Crawford song (if you want me to explain a song from Crawford's pineal self playlist def request that too!)

A bit self explanatory, but this is in my POV to Crawford, as my S/I is undead, reanimated, although can be mistaken for a mortal person. I've always struggled, despite the love from the Frankenstein creations, Dr. West, and Dr. Cain, with grasping who I am and considering myself a monster (despite literally being the complete opposite of that). Crawford has always accepted me as I am, and never was afraid of me, and that comes into play more because he knows how it feels...because he still has that pineal gland of his that makes him a monster. I'm in that state of being scared of myself, especially after killing Dr. Hill with my bare hands, that I'm afraid of hurting someone else. The same can be said for Crawford, that is afraid one day he would unintentionally hurt me while not in his best state of mind.

Save Me - Saint Motel

So this one always makes me have the feels, because this song I've interpreted as Boris trying to cope with the loss of me after the events of "Evidence to the Contrary", aka me being sucked into a portal a Cthulhu monster came out of at a precinct via the 6 Legion totems were put together. Boris never intended on losing me, and that's what hit him the hardest. He also had a choice in whether to open the portal to hell or god-knows-where I ended up, potentially putting our world in danger, or never touching the totems again, separating them, and putting them in his attic (which the latter he painfully and remorsefully did).

The lyrics "Don't cry sweet baby, you'll be the one who saves me" can go both ways: Boris being so protective of me, as he never thought that he'd be in a relationship and it changed his life, and mourning over the loss of me once I'm gone. I was the first and only person that lived from the aftermath of encountering a Legendary Totem, and heaven forbid he put me in harm's way. OR vise versa: where I am on the other side of that portal, in Carey Ohio, decades in the future, mourning how I'll probably never see the love of my life again, and being desperate to do ANYTHING to get back to him. But again, it's that moral obligation to keep humanity safe from the monsters and demons that threaten to cross over into our world. But don't worry, by the end of the song, I always imagine the scene of us reuniting and holding each other so tight and just sobbing because we thought we lost each other for good.

Hi, I’m Jamie! I also go by Maxie, Aster, and Lupin. I’m an aroace agender bugthing (it/bug/rot/he/she, no they/them please!) and huge selfshipper. I have a lot of interests! My bio changes pretty often with what I’m into/watching at the time, but right now I’m especially into the backrooms! Specifically the wikidot canon. I like all kinds of dreamcore, liminal, and analog horror, but I’m into horror of all genres.

I don’t really have a DNI, I just block pretty liberally and for my own comfort. Just be respectful to me and other people and we won’t have an issue.

Edit: Realized that this probably should be said. Do not interact with me if you are afraid of or feel negatively about insects or any “creepy crawly” animals. I am an insect therian, and it makes me very uncomfortable to hear things like that. I will especially not tolerate jokes about killing or “torturing” bugs. They are animals too.

I’m fine with sharing in terms of selfshipping, if I’m a double and we’re mutuals, please let me know and I can make a tag for you. Hoping to eventually have ship tags so that can be remedied.
