So, I just had an idea for a shitpost Magnus Archives AU that would be both a horror and a comedy. 😭 And its called 'My Roommate, Jon'. (Its sort of what it sounds like—though Jon is horrifically out of character in this. Thats kind of part of the joke in this though./lh)

TWS FOR CREEPY BEHAVIOR?? KINDA??, ELDIRITCH HORROR, HORROR??, ETC.

Essentially, the plot is that YOU (yes, you—the story is in a first person POV the whole time and you're completely silent/dont say anything at all—though you can pretend its not you if you want? Its still in first person though—Jon also never says the persons name—or your name if you wanna see it as you— just to make things easier) are just some person trying to go about life, but have a roommate (Jonathan Sims). The thing is, he brings a bunch of eldritch horror into your life, and you have to deal with every single fucking thing that happens with him (from season 1 to 5)—not to mention, hes comically out of character in this (being malicious or almost kind of ominous/unnerving, but also strangely.. nice???). But, he is also a very good roommate and is actually very nice to you, so you just nervously cope with everything because you dont know what else to do and dont want to have to find another roommate. 😭

Again, its meant to be kind of ominous but funny at the same time. Jon brings the viewer breakfast in bed once, but ominously smiles at them and speaks in a really creepy tone even when hes talking rather nicely to them (not to mention the viewers hands are visibly shaking as they nervously take it). He randomly pops up while the viewer sneaks out of their bedroom in the middle of the night, because apparently he was getting a midnight snack from the fridge, and he just ominously smiles at the viewer when he sees them. The viewer is also forced to meet Michael or Jane Prentiss and likely every other entity, but Jon just treats it like a mild inconvenience (he does protect the viewer whenever shit happens, but hes still very casual about it even though this shit is obviously weird and creepy).

Again, this would have no plot (if you dont count everything else happening in TMA that you arent witnessing since you're just Jon's roommate in this—or at least the viewer is if you again dont want to see them as yourself)—it would just be a small horror-comedy thing for fun./lh

If I did make something for this though, what should it be? Like, what should I do with it?/lh

Monster

Based off of this C!Jack post from literally like, 5 hours ago

C!Jack wakes up and he isn't the same as before. Quite, observant, scarily smart and electronics struggle to work around him and more often than not shocks whoever he touches.

Eventually he's healthy enough to leave but he doesn't really change, he just, sits around and stares at the most random things.

He wears nothing but a grey sweat shirt and sweatpants and is always barefoot.

The others have been worried about him since he woke up and it gets worse when they find Jack standing out in a thunder and lightning storm, staring up to the sky with no head to the blustering wind and rain.

They don't let him be alone after that, even when he's sleeping, one of them sleeps in the room with him, it happened too more times after that and after every storm he just seems to get worse, electronics just stop working and lights begin to flicker in every room he's in. One day they catch him staring blank faced at a TV full of static and Jackie swears he can hear voices coming from it.

They disconnect every electronic in the house, leaving only their phones. One day they wake up and Jacks not in his room, they search for minutes until they find jack in the recording room. Staring at the monitors red screens.

They freeze when they here whispering, it's hoarse and nearly incomprehensible but they manage to make out "wake up" "monster" it unnerves them to their very core before they finally pull Jack out of the room, their hearts pounding as everything suddenly goes quiet.

In a croaky broken voice, jack speaks for the first time in years. "The monster wants to wake up."
