The mysterious brand new purebred is the lusitano! I was so excited for this one, as it's one of my favourite breeds when it comes to looks! They're now available in-game in a limited regard, and will be fully available at the end of the next week.
I think this is the part I'm most eager to show! While the adult generic models are used for crossbreeds and right now show as placeholders for some breeds, the foal models are used more universally. Each bodytype have its own foal model!
Cobblestan is a crossbreed created by the players in the game. The unique breed mane style isn't implemented yet, but the rest of them are available in the game.
I really love Irish Cobs! Being very colorful and visually striking, it's also the 3rd most popular purebred in the game. Some of the longer mane styles ended up differing slightly in the final release.
Elvish Warhorse is a multi-breed cross created by the players in the game. This elegant steed has an refined head, lush manes and feathers and dynamic, energetic movement.
Chincoteague is a breed I've heard about a lot but didn't have much of an opportunity to draw them until now. I'm especially happy with the look of the long manes for this one!
Closing the crossbreed model stakes is the heavy draft! This one had to be both feasibly a mix of a long-legged draft (like Clydesdale) and a muscular and chunky draft (like Ardennes), so I tried to incorporate a mix of the traits of the two types. One of the main inspirations for the head was the american Belgian draft type, since some of the breed are very muscular, and others big-framed, with long legs and elongated head shape.
This model is shown for any crossbreeds that have pony-sized parent breeds. I aimed for a typical riding pony - not excessively sporty, and not an extremely chunky miniature. I referenced its features from Shetlands, Welsh section A and Exmoor ponies.
