I'll be honest with you, I had this on my computer for a week or so. And coming back to it. I really drew Pelops' face in a very weird position. ANYWAY I figured today. Why not. I love the bromance concept between Owlthena, Telemachus and Horseidon, living in my head rent free. But unfortunately, I can't transmit my brain impulses to y'all 😔, so, here's mini-comics!!!

What's going on??? Well— Poseidon is wounded, and until his wounds heal he is basically just a very strange&cool horse. And the same sentence applies to Athena

And this creates quite an interesting situation for us! Poseidon is too wounded(and grounded??? He pissed off Amphitrite, soooo) to escape from Ithaca. Athena is too wounded to fly away. And they are forced to be in the same living space. And to be the object of care for one particular Disney princess — Telemachus!!!

Basically, it's the trio from "Angry Grumpy & Innocent Ray of Sunshine & Angry Grumpy". But, like— 500k words slowburn, with full disclosure of the Poseidon and Athena lore. And Poseidon goes through character development and a Redemption Arc. Because I love it when powerful beings get their heads smashed by life itself, and I want Poseidon and Athena to look like wet cats for half the story

And Ody befriends and disco dancing with Dionysus and Ares in the background

Some old sketches I forgot to post. Had a lot of thoughts cause while I enjoy the race. I do want to focus on the inbetween things like so.. Pelops got chased out of Lydia by invaders shortly after the one feast. We all know the one and escaped through the mountains towards Pisa.

There was the war with Thebes and I want to see how far he was willing to go for his boy. Just thoughts like that. Anyway. Woo.
