Purchased as a bday present for a friend who rides horses :)

headache most of day yesterday-- so didn’t get writing or anything else in! put the turtles into the water. idk what else. oh yes in p.m. I made a pie, mom wanted a rhubarb pie since before mother’s day.

stayed over at neighbors’ house pet sitting, in bed with their 2 dogs. they woke me up at 6:30 but i didn’t want to get up so i went back to sleep til almost 10. then I watched Hunchback of Notre Dame on their tv til 12 and then went back across the yard to home for lunch. my niece was there. we went overto neighbors with mom’s poodle playing with neighbor dogs then went out looking for more turtles. only found one. Jocie found it. she put it in the water when we went down to the marsh. in the park, mom met some kids from club she taught. they’re mom is in Uganda, where the girls were from originally, they said. missions work 10 days or something. they had their dog with them. 

then we went back and had some pizza, later played horse-opoly. mom was winning and jocie got discouraged when she lost all her money but still had properties (horses) and went upstairs with her kindle. no temper tantrums, just very sad. 

we watched the Preakness on Youtube (tv wasn’t coming in good for supper) an saw the horse who reared up and whose rider fell off and the horse ran the whole race without a rider! what a good (i mean naughty) horse
