What if the Hostess Ad Campaign had continued?

Starting in 1975 (shortly after they stopped using lard as an ingredient for the filling in Twinkies) and running for around seven years, the Hostess Ad Campaign featured characters from DC, Marvel, Archie, and Harvey in silly but amusing one-page adventures leading to everyone in the end (except for the bad guys) enjoying a Twinkie or Hostess Fruit Pie.
But what if the ads had continued into the late 80s and beyond, up to the present day, not only continuing but also branching out from the venues above?
