Ein Tag am Wörthersee / A Day at the Wörthersee

Am Sonntag sind wir nach Kärnten und dem Wörthersee gefahren. Der See ist sehr schön, mit klar aquamarin Wasser, und das Wetter war perfekt für einen entspannend Tag in der Sonne. Wir haben auch ein Polaroidfoto gemacht :)

On Sunday, host fam and I all went to Carinthia to the Wörthersee for a day trip. The lake is quite pretty with crystal clear, aquamarine water, and the weather was perfect for a relaxing day in the sun. Before leaving, we also took a Polaroid selfie :)

Züruck nach Österreich/Return to Austria

Ich bin wieder in Österreich! Und seit mehr als eines Jahr habe ich kein Deutsch gesprochen. Trotzdem bin ich begeistert züruck zu sein, und ich denke (ich hoffe) dass ich ziemlich schnell erinnern werde :)

I’m back in Austria! And since I left a little over a year ago, I haven’t spoken any German. At all. Nevertheless, I’m thrilled to be back, and I think (I hope) that it will all come back fairly quickly :)

Since my 8 yr old host sister (Naila) realized I was leaving soon, she's been coloring seashells and pictures for me to take home with me so I remember her.
