I agree with anon who talked about Timmy's team pushing him with the teen idol narrative. I believe it's very risky for his team to push this image as a teen idol, because we know that in Hollywood every day a new and beautiful face appears, but with an extraordinary talent like Timmy, it doesn't. I think his team is wrong, especially given that these teenage fans don't seem to have much interest in Timmy's filmography (see how they don't understand cmbyn, which was a film that gave him a historic Oscar nomination). But at the end of the day, Timmy is the one who approves or disapproves of everything the team does, so...

I think sometimes people aren’t as in control over their own lives and decisions as we might think. Especially when their image becomes a hot commodity, with lots of money to be made by a lot of people in selling that image to the widest audience possible.

If he IS calling the shots, I hope he understands before it’s too late that the popularity gained from going the teen heartthrob route tends to be short-lived, and that it might be wiser to aim for an audience who appreciates his talents and his dedication to his craft, and can grow with him as he pursues a long and successful career.
