The Daeron show plot confuses the hell out of me, does Rhaenyra not know that her brother (who was born years before the war) exists or something?? Because when it comes to male claimants, she’s only worried about Aegon and Aemond. Also has Alicent also forgotten that her son exists? Like ok if the show insists on it, I guess I’ll accept that show Alicent is willing to accept Aegon and Aemond being killed in exchange for her, Helena and Jaehaera’s lives, but wouldn’t she want Daeron’s life to be part of that deal as well, as he is basically still a kid and hasn’t done anything wrong in her eyes (unlike Aegon being a rapist and Aemond just being a loose canon) but of course if Alicent had said that Daeron must be part of the deal as well, then Rhaenyra would’ve probably not accepted, she’d be foolish to, because she can’t afford to have any male claimants challenge her.
