This is set in high school so there's underage drinking. Also, we have childish and petty Y/n and Jinyoung. I had fun writing this I found the ending to be funny. I laughed at this as I was writing this. I also wrote the ending before anything else. So I hope you enjoy this.

You and Jinyoung have been in competition for three years. Every time you went against him you'd lose. Sports, student council, and even academics. You were always second to him and that made you hate him even more. But if there was one thing you weren't going to lose to him was Choi Youngjae.

Jinyoung hated you. He would beat you in everything. Academics won student council president, and even beat you in silly little games. But you were stubborn you never knew how to quit. No matter how hard he'd try to run you were always right behind you. But if there was something he'd never give up on it's Choi Youngjae.

It all started when Jinyoung came to you asking for help. At first, you were surprised he came to ask YOU of all people to help him. But then you got cocky because HE asked for your help. But that was your mistake when he started asking about Youngjae you had to pause. He liked Youngjae which was a problem you liked Youngjae too. So you had to tell him the wrong information. Jinyoung was an idiot to believe you. He felt stupid for falling for such a lie. But he also figured you liked Youngjae.

I think it's time we got this straight

At first, it was a normal competition but your jealousy got the better of both of you. Whenever you were walking in the halls Jinyoung would "accidentally" trip you. Just so you would slow down. But jokes on him Youngjae always lets you sit by him at lunch. Jinyoung always was the last one at the lunch table so he had to sit across from him. You always had this smirk on your face whenever he sat down.

"Hey Y/n I saved you a seat" you smile at the empty seat next to Youngjae. "Thanks, Youngjae"

"Of course I'll always save a seat for you!" Jinyoung sat down at the table and he glares at you as you hug Youngjae but is secretly amused by your display of affection.

Jinyoung would always get you back on Friday's which as guys night. You never knew exactly what happened over there but Jinyoung would always make sure to bring it up in the conversation the next Monday at lunch.

Then when the three of you were in the same room oh boy was the tension thick. It was a one-up between both of you. Sometimes you'd be caught up in your own thing sometimes you'd both forget about what you're fighting for.

What made it even harder was Youngjae gave you the same signals. He would flirt with the both of you. He would spend time with both of you. So it was hard to tell who he liked. Youngjae was totally oblivious to you and Jinyoung's feelings. He also didn't realize he was flirting with both of you. But things couldn't stay that way forever.

"Youngjae!" You and both Jinyoung say as Youngjae comes up to both of you. Damn you Park Jinyoung stop getting in my way! Y/n....why are you always in my way!

"Hey, guys" your heart melt as Youngjae smiles at you. His honey blonde hair looking so soft and fluffy.

"Are you going to Jimin's party?" (yes this not a party by Mr.Wang)

"Oh that's right I forgot it was tonight. Well, I don't have a ride-

"I can drive you" you cut off Youngjae as Jinyoung stands there. Really Y/n? If you think for one second I'm gonna let you be alone with him think again!

"Oh, I need I ride too" I see what your up to Park but it's not going to work.

"Jinyoung you can ask Jaebum you live near him right?" Shit! I forgot about Jaebum. Haha, checkmate Park Jinyoung!

"Why don't we car pull? That helps the environment bringing fewer carbon emissions into the air?" Fuck Why do you do this to me Youngjae?... Looks like I win Y/n.

"Fine I'll drive there Jaebum can drive us back"

"Diving who back?" Jaebum appears putting his arm around Youngjae and he smiles at Jaebum. You tell him about the party and Youngjae's plan.

"Why don't I pick you guys up in my car? It doesn't make sense if I'm driving you guys home if Y/n can't drive herself home?"

"We can sleep at your place. Besides no one wants to sit in your messy car" Youngjae says

"Messy you didn't complain last week," Jaebum says shutting Youngjae up but Jaebum wasn't opposed to the idea. So there it was set in motion. When Youngjae and Jaebum walked away for class Jinyoung pulled you to the side.

"Listen tonight at the party I plan on confessing," you tell Jinyoung

"What?!"

"I can't keep sitting here waiting for him, I need to move on. He needs to know how I feel even if he doesn't like me I'll accept that and fighting with you for him is just draining Jinyoung I don't see the point of it" you say walking off leaving Jinyoung stunned.

Tonight is the night you confessed. Jinyoung doesn't know this but you had to make a move somehow and you were getting tired of hiding your feelings. Not to mention fighting with Jinyoung all day. You were going to look at your best tonight. So you choose the best and sexiest dress you have. You wanted to do it for you not for Youngjae, not to one-up Jinyoung. For you.

Once done you get your keys and leave the house first you head to Jaebum and then Jinyoung's place. Jaebum sat in the back, which you thought was weird but you shook it off. As long as Youngjae sits in the front. Wrong. Jinyoung you should've known would fuck up your expectations. You should've just picked him up last pretending you forgot him or where he lived or just left his ass at home. Which left Youngjae when you picked him up in the back. The car ride was awkward no one said a word. But you noticed Youngjae and Jaebum were acting weird in the back seat but you ignored it. You get out of the car and all eyes are on you.

"Hey, Youngjae can we talk I need to tell you something?" You say

"Why don't we get some drinks first!" Jaebum suggests

"Yeah, we should get something to drink" your stomach was in knots you were nervous to confess to Youngjae but its what has to be done so you can move on.

Jinyoung goes over to you and drags you into the nearest room Clearly, he was upset.

"You two are both my friends but I'm sick and tired of hearing you fighting about whatever it is your fighting about!" You and Jinyoung look at the floor here you both were arguing over Youngjae. You both were so selfish you didn't see how this was affecting Youngjae the boy you both have feelings for.

"Youngjae I like you a lot," your eyes widened at Jinyoung's confession. He did it he confessed...before you.

"Oh hell no at lunch I trip that Y/n on purpose" Jinyoung admits

"Yeah we don't even like each other as friends let alone romantically that's where you fucked up," you say

"But if you do still have feelings for us...I don't mind sharing Y/n with you?" Ether this was a dream no it gas to be a dream. Park Jinyoung never shares but now he wants to be in a three-way relationship with you and Youngjae?! This was a crazy night.

You and Jinyoung watch in disbelief as Youngjae and Jaebum walk away. You both didn't know what to say. You both lost, neither of you won, Youngjae was with...Jaebum?

"Jaebum if all people?" It hit you Youngjae was trying to tell you both this all along. This what Jaebum meant earlier and why he always has his arm around Youngjae. Why he sat in the back seat and why they were acting strange. Plus they’ve been spending a lot of time together lately. you and Jinyoung were caught up in your own drama to notice Jaebum or think about he feels. You also feel stupid acting like such a child flirting with Youngjae in front of Jaebum...I bet he was upset and poor Youngjae didn’t even know.

"Why didn't I see it coming?" you admit
