What Nick Alm has achieved on canvas continues to be an extra-ordinary projection of a deep visual potency that exists in the mind of the artist. One can only wonder how a living human being despite all of life’s imperfections concieve such an absolute image as distinctively as Hotel Ghost. It resonates with parts of me I do not even understand or know how I can recognise.

DP OC Parade, Day 1: Introductions

Meet the HOTEL GHOST!!!

This little gremlin is completely obsessed with HOTELS. If something can be answered with the word "HOTEL", he will answer so. If you can't answer, he will also say "HOTEL". His whole afterlife is based on occupying other people's houses and other premises in order to make a HOTEL out of them. Probably, during his lifetime, someone terribly wanted to own a HOTEL, but fate did not work out in his favor, so there is no HOTEL on this side either, but there are all forces to take away someone else's housing in favor of the HOTEL. The HOTEL GHOST realizes that there is no HOTEL without guests, so when he occupies someone else's house, he immediately invites all the inhabitants of the ghost zone to check into his HOTEL.

BY THE WAY, PLEASE NOTE that THE HOTEL IS OPEN, BE SURE TO COME

if you are at least a half-ghost and have the money of the ghost zone with you.

Meet a hotel human?.. um..

I found it funny to just make him human, but it would be much more strange for people to take someone else's place to make a hotel out of it. But on the other hand, these hotels are much more in demand among people. You know, those suspicious ads on websites about renting rooms for the night-

Dream Diary: December 14, 2024

Hotel Ghost

Background: My sister gave me a gift certificate to stay in a Hotel Sleep Suite with special features that all the lights are voice activated for a comfortable sleep.

Dream: Around 4 am I had a dream that there was a man with lust intent under the hotel blanket trying to seduce me by my legs. When I ignored it and chanted "Om Mani Padme Hum," it kept blowing strong wind against me. The wind goes past the thick duvet blanket and I could feel it on my face and hair. As I continued to chant, the wind stopped and its as if someone is pulling my hair one by one. It then occured to me I could just wake up did. I woke up and told voice activatesd the lights to turn on and it went away.
