My very first time participating @green-with-envy-phandom-event and so, my first colored piece for the Green with Envy event is done! Lineart belongs to @a-very-little-fish ♡
Fun for all experience levels, GWE is a two-part fandom event filled with competition and a side of chaos; participate in one or both, the choice is yours!
Part One: Line Art
Like drawing but hate to color? Then phase one is great for you! Anyone can submit up to 5 line arts, no more, to be colored by an army of excited gremlins later in the event! Submissions will be open for two months, and crossover fanart is allowed. As with last year, the lines will be kept secret until the coloring starts >:)
Part Two: Competitive Coloring Chaos
During this half of the event, make sure you have your markers ready! From the moment the lines drop, small teams will work to color as many pieces as possible before time is up! But don't worry if speed isn't your forte; there's strategy here! Points are earned depending on when you color, how you complete it, and even what team was originally assigned those lines. (Anyone can color any piece, and you may even snipe points for it!)
Big shout out to @jackdraw-spwrite for letting us use their Swirl Fight line art from last year's event to make this year's banner! And to @fuyuthefoxwriter, @ovytia-art, @ghosttrolls and @sykloni who colored it!
This year's Links, Info and Important Dates below!
Welcome back to the gremlin enclosure! Thanks everyone in the Phandom for showing the event so much love!

Hey all! Phic Phight 2026 is officially coming, and you can now sign up!
Sign-ups close March 28th at 11:59 EST. You must sign up ahead of time and join the discord to participate.
For those who have never joined before, Phic Phight is basically a Danny Phantom fanfiction writing event, where everybody is sorted into teams and earn points by completing prompts provided by the other team. Winner gets bragging rights. Phic Phight takes place the entire month of April.
This year, we have noteworthy changes such as implementing Revenge Points, where you can get extra points if you fill a prompt for somebody who filled a prompt for you, and Read&Review, where while phic submissions end April 30th, you can still submit commenter points up until May 7th.
If you'd like to read more about these changes or would like to know more about the rules/process on how Phic Phight works, you can read our FAQ/Rules document here.
Otherwise, you can sign up and join the discord by clicking here!
Special huge thank you to @sailor-toni for creating the graphic!
If there’s one thing the Phandom seems to lack, it’s OCs, we’re a creative bunch, so let’s get creative! Show off an OC or make one for the event!
Is your OC a ghost? Are they human? Do they work for the GiW or are they a Casper High student? Who are they? What are they about?
What OCs are accepted: Crossovers, Next Gen, Self-insert, original concept, Ghost fusions, Ghost clones, etc. As long as it's related to Danny Phantom, it's allowed!
Prompt explanations:
Introductions: Give a brief introduction to your OC!
What animal would they be: Draw your OC as an animal! Any animal! They can be modern, prehistoric, from the sea or the skies. Have fun with it!
PJ Day: What does your OC wear to bed? If they don't sleep, well, what would they wear if they did? (No nude stuff >>)
Beach Episode: Draw your OC havin' fun in the sun!
Masquerade Ball: Time to get fancy, masquerade balls are all about hiding your identities and wearing pretty frocks with cool and interesting designs, what would your OC wear?
Drive-Thru shenanigans: "Ma'am, this is the Nasty Burger." Your OC is either ordering or taking orders at the drive-thru, are they the annoying customer or are they dealing with one?
Draw someone else’s OC: Find someone who has joined in the event by using the #DP OC Parade tag and give them a little drawing to appreciate their blorbo 💚
She'd be having far more fun if she was on a family trip and not a school one. Being around all her classmates she doesn't really hang around isn't as enjoyable when you're busy trying to hang back.
My Outlook on the Process/Result:
Thought this would be a great opportunity to kind of mess around with character-perspective and story shifting. The best way I can say it, is this is a project to focus on Lindsey, but she's meant to be a background character, so I wanted to simultaneously give focus to the real main characters of the show with their personalities as their spotlights, meanwhile, Lindsey gets some focus being this is about her, but through her solitary. Her isolation is what makes her stand out here, while everyone else is just having fun, but they're more outgoing and relaxed views and closer presence to the camera is what really pronounces them in this shot.
If any of that even made sense. XD It was fun to figure this out and I'm happy with the result, even if kind of sketched and sloppy. lol
(I did want to add more, have Kwan racing past the hanging blanket in the far left, maybe someone swimming in the far right, behind Lindsey, but I was low on time and thought what I had was probably good enough. Gotta make sure there's some room to breathe, too.)
Note:
This is where things get a little more last-minute. The next day's piece is barely started, because I've been struggling on dress ideas/designs, and even more-so on a mask. So, I'll likely just leave the dress I have for it and not give her a mask and just try doodling some side shots, if I even have time to do all of that.
We'll see when tomorrow comes around. Just thought I'd warn everyone as to why things will be a lot more lack-luster and sloppy after today's post. Sorry!
