Having to cancel a reservation because a guest passed away??? I feel really weird rn??? It almost feels disrespectful to cancel it...This is not one of the things they warn you about when they train you. RIP to the guest and love to their family.
Guest: Is there coffee available at this time? (5am) Me: Yes, actually. Please go to the breakfast area, ring the bell, and the breakfast attendant will get that for you! Guest: okay, thank you! Guest proceeds to NOT ring bell, unhooks the retractable barrier set up to keep guests out of the kitchen, ignores breakfast attendant, and starts serving themselves coffee.
