I’m having a horrible time finding information on Hoder and working with him as a deity. The resources I find online for him seems to talk more about Baldur than him. Am I missing an obvious resource? I think Odin put an idea in my head recently that it’s important to form a relationship with Hoder at this time in my life.

As you’ve likely guessed by now, some deities aren’t as well-attested as others and we simply don’t have much information on them. When I had this problem with Sigyn, I decided to skip the deep research holes and just invite her over. If you’re already familiar with discerning deities and working with them, I can’t recommend that approach enough.
As far as new resources go, Hodr is also attested in Gesta Danorum’s version of Baldr’s Death. Gesta Danorum is a Danish manuscript written around the same time as the Icelandic Eddas but features completely different versions of Norse stories. In this version of Baldr’s Death, Hodr is a human hero who fights Baldr over a princess named Nanna. I have no idea if this’ll help you on your quest but it’s all I got.
(Now that I think about it, this version is VERY reminiscent of “Holly King and Oak King” folkloric trope. Fancy that.)
