A small group of followers travel across regional lines seeking the dead.
The Smell of Flowers is a short story that was created for the 2025 Hot Wet Queer Summer Jam.
It depicts a small group of followers who travel across regional lines in search of the dead. It is about bodily dysphoria, and visions, and recreating yourself, and baggage from the past. It is also about being stranded at a motel in the middle of the summer.
Happy Hot Wet Pitch Day! I've got so many goodies happening in this story for Hot Wet Queer Summer Jam. There's a transmasc MC, vampires, werewolves, hot springs, and the Alaskan wilderness! Not to mention all the delicious (torture) love the resident feral werewolf bestows upon his little vampire lover. I have commissioned the amazing @airic-fenn for the cover, and I can't wait. To my fellow Jamsters, I'm excited to participate in this event with you all. Thanks to Monster Manor for hosting the event.
