GoT S07E02 SPOILERS!!!!!!!
[SPOILERS!] [SPOILERS!] [SPOILERS!] [SPOILERS!] [SPOILERS!] (From the July 23th episode from GAME OF THRONES!!!!!!!!!!!) [SPOILERS!] [SPOILERS!] [SPOILERS!] [SPOILERS!] [SPOILERS!]
Where are the broken-hearted wolfkins and dogkins with today’s episode??? Who cried the guts out? I did! I hope Arya find her awakening soon! Nymeria, come back!!
me btw!! if you were wondering!
I recently started meditating to past life videos/wolf videos. And… I think I’ve gone through my whole wolf past life line! Or lineage? Not sure what to call it!
I wouldn’t necessarily consider each past life it’s own separate kin type, rather they all fall under, in some way, wolfkin/caninekin, as either vaguetypes or clado-kintypes! And note I do mention a few past lives I do not consider ‘kin, but they still are related to my wolf past lives.
Lemme go in order chronologically! I’ll try and add the subtypes too :)
400 BC: Demaenetus the Wrestler (past life)
An Ancient Greek wrestler who was able to transform into a wolf
400s: Mythkin / Wolfkin
A very old legend that the Neuri (near modern Belarus) villagers would turn into wolfs a few days a year
400s/Arthurian Era: Melion (past life) , Werewolfkin / Wolfkin
Melion was a figure from King Arthur myth who was said to have transformed into a wolf to hunt a stag for his wife, but becomes stuck as his wife leaves him for someone else. He becomes one of King Arthur’s prized animals, and King Arthur finally realizes it’s one of his knights, as such he finds a way to transform Melion back to human.
1100s: Ossory Werewolfkin
Known as Irish Werewolves, ossory people were thought to be descended from Laignech Fáelad, who like the figure were able to transform into wolves.
1400s Werewolfkin
During the era of witchcraft trials across Europe, werewolf hunts also populated the land. What is distinct abt 15th century werewolves is that it was not a disease nor birthright, but rather a regular human making some ‘pact with the devil’ (read: magic). The werewolves from then would killed dozens of people and commit many crimes, and act feral once human again.
1500s: Blackshuckkin/Blackdogkin
The black shuck was a legend of hellhounds Ronaldo dogs that roamed the moor killing people
Subtypes:
Blackbeastkin: different from a dog or cat, this kin type spans 1500s to modern day
Houndkin: not to a specific time period but it falls specifically under blackshuckkin, and not caninekin
Phantomcatkin: this is a modern subtype under blackdogkin, since black dog sightings continued into modern day, along with the phantom cat sightings in England.
1500s: Benandanti Werewolves
People of a specific tradition were said to turn into wolves in their dreams and fight devils and witches. Considered themselves as good werewolves and hounds of god.
1700s: Beast of Gévaudan, Wolfkin
In the 1760s there were a continuous series of wolf attacks in the town of Gévaudan France. Though wolf attacks occurred, it is merely a legend of a terrible beast who would be killed by men and who come back another day. What was thought to be one regenerative creature, was more than likely multiple wolves in the area continuing to hunt in the town.
1800s: Wolfkin / Redwolfkin
This kintype was alive during the 1800s when settlers killed wolves in the US en masse, resulting in a wolf genocide.
Modern: Mythkin / Werewolfkin
My main and most prominent wolf related lossy life is definitely my modern werewolf kintype. It falls under the depiction of werewolves/lycanthropy as a disease that is passed from people.
Modern: Caninekin Vaguetype / Canidae Clado-kin
I count this since many of my shifts end up being connected to my caninekin or canidae clado-kin kintypes.
🍂I've been getting a lot of hound dog cameos as of late. Hounds were always my first pick when I played with my friends as a kid, and I've always adored them. They held a special part in my life, from loving a beagle on the street to going fox hunting with my mom and hearing the howls cry across the forest(no foxes we're harmed on our hunts! We're catch and release only💛) so it's no surprise they've come back into my life this way! While I'm certain that it's not a full type by any means, they're so much fun to experience! I want to bound through a field hot on the chase! 🍂
Hey! I'd love to see cricket in action more whenever you get the time!! I know i forget a lot of the time to take training videos...but I'd love to see how you two work as a team! You guys seem very lovely. Have a good day!
I always forget to take videos too! But I can definitely start taking some -- she’s been doing so well lately and I would LOVE to show her off. <3
