While we wait on the Jared ring answer, let me throw this on the pile. It has driven me crazy trying to figure out how Jen decides when to wear the silver (Vegascon 17) or the gold band (Nashcon 17). I have watched for a couple of years & when I think I have it figured, then he changes. I associate the gold as everyday as it's seen more, it does match Jared's. But could the silver be the more special? Anniversary ring is a possibility. Theories???

Oh my… this ring business is very tricky. I must admit my default setting is to check whether or not they’re wearing the rings at all on stage, but I pay no further attention to what kind of rings they are. You wouldn’t believe how bad I am with fashion and accessories… My fashion sense is much worse than Jared’s, hahah.

Anyway, you could be onto something here. First thing that popped into my mind was to check the footage from HousCon 2016, which was the famous con where Jared “forgot” his wedding band on a Valentine’s Day of all days.

And sure enough…

… Jensen has the silver ring on.

Now, could it be that they have a matching set for special occasions? But instead of them both daring to wear them on stage, they decided the other would go entirely ringless?

These rings confuse me so much. I wonder if we’ll ever figure them out! It’s always worth a shot, though. ;) Thank you for your message, sweetheart! I hope the coming week brings you joy!

So houscon last year had some AMAZING j2 (tinhat) moments: 22ish minutes in, the exchange "I'm just saying, if you had said 12 inches, you would have seen everything", "Get a grip!", "I'm not talking about shaft" and Jensen's face during that whole thing; 49ish minutes in when Jared says he has the mark of cain on his finger and Jensen takes a pic so the audience can see but it totally just looks like a pic of Jared's penis. & I really really hope this year does not disappoint!!

I recently rewatched the Houston con panels due to an anon ask. Hoo boy, it was glorious! All the dirty jokes, Saxx talk and “We were made for each other.” *sighs* They were in such lovey-dovey mood and it was Valentine’s Day. And Jared said he dressed in red for the occasion, even if it was a joke.

Look at how delighted Jared is when the fan asks Jensen to lift up the shirt! And gosh, that dick joke goes on and on and on!

If this is what we’re expecting today, the bar is certainly set very high. ;) I’m mentally prepared to see a certain someone with a sizeable baby bump appear at the convention today, but I’d love to be wrong and I’d be thrilled if we got another naughty HousCon! #tulpa!

To lighten things up: remember when j2 spent the entire Valentines day together? The time they were so flirty and even declared that they're "made for each other"? 😍 (Oh and all this in the absence of those precious wedding rings 😏)

First of all, this reminder is more than welcome. I’ve witnessed my fellow hats sinking into despair over the current state of things. I’m sure everyone could use a pick-me-up right about now, am I correct?

How could one forget Houston con? Jared forgot to wear his wedding ring on both of the panels (ah, the romantic marriages are killing me!) and Jensen couldn’t control his heart eyes.

Also, wait a minute. Wait just one minute. At 4:23 Jared starts explaining about his story of discovering Saxx underwear and he talks about how hard it was to find their boxers when they were still a small company. “I would like some for my — travel, or whatever.” What were you going to say, Jared? Big-dicked boyfriend? Well-endowed husband?

Ahem, excuse me. My mind is wandering.

Hah, Jared is like “Yikes” here, shortly covering up his surprise in a snarl. The fan looks like she can’t believe he just said that. And hell, who can blame her? I can still hardly believe this actually happened!

And the dirty jokes… A fan asks Jensen to lift up the shirt a little, which he takes quite literally and lifts it just a little bit. Jared says “If you would’ve said twelve inches, you would’ve seen everything.”

I can certainly see why he would need the Saxx’s if there’s any truth in that, ahem.

@moriart-corafan reminded me of the valentine making video, and like...... either jensen and misha organized together to make and auction off valentines for charity together on valentine’s day. (which in and of itself would be very wild, planning their valentine’s day to do a sweet thing together) or Misha organized it himself for jensen on Valentine’s day to auction off for a charity of jensen’s choice (Rich’s words here) which would also be very wild. It was a couple days after announcing the yana campaign, so I think it was for that, but they also idt ever said it was for that? So I genuinely don’t know. But either way, they (Misha, lbr) sourced a bunch of construction paper and glitter and glitter glue and markers and got their friends together to make Valentines to auction off for something important to Jensen. (and meanwhile jared didn’t even know about it until he walks into the room if you watch the video)

Ma’am that’s romance. That’s romance, ma’am. That’s love right there.
